We were a group of eight adults staying for the New Years Eve Party. The evening Party was fantastic. The staff are amazing at this Hotel. Very engaging, helpful and worked very hard to give us a wonderful New Year Celebration. The Hotel was full and a large group were treated to a three course delicious dinner. Perfectly cooked and served. Our group had a fabulous time seeing the New Year in. My compliments to the restaurant manager and all the kitchen staff. The afternoon bar area should have been manned by more staff as at times it took a while to get served. The only negative I have is that the heating in the Hotel was not working. If you had a ground floor outward facing room it was cold. I'm so glad we showered and prepped before arriving at the Hotel as many guests complained of cold showers. I advised reception who assured me a heater would be put into our room during dinner and the room would be warm before we returned to it. This happened and we had a warm room to retire to. I would have had to sleep fully clothed otherwise. I hope they get this sorted as we all said we would love to spend another NYE at the Hotel. Thank you to the Hotel team for your service and for working on this special occasion.

Me and my wife booked to stay at this hotel for new years eve. Bed breakfast and a 3 course meal and live entertainment who we're fantastic. the double bedroom was great the bed so comfortable the food was very good all the staff were very professional and polite and under a lot of pressure to accommodate us all we were allocated to a table with people we didn't know but everyone joined in and had a great time. All this and access to the pool and spa for a mere £110.00 per person. a bargain the have functions all through the year we will definitely be going back. Thanks to all the staff and the great entertainment team.

Great value, great breakfast and friendly staff

The hotel sparkled with festive decorations when we were on our Twixmas break. Although some areas are a little dated, public areas and rooms are modern. Staff at this hotel are friendly and keen to please- Leah, Ivetta & Aurelie on reception were all extremely helpful and a particular mention has to go to Jewel in the restaurant at breakfast time- quietly attentive he worked unobtrusively to replenish all items. The breakfast here is excellent- a huge variety of fresh fruit at its prime, nice mini pastries, wide variety of cereals, hot cooked breakfast, cooked meats & other cold options such as cheeses, hoummous, salad, toast & baguettes. Most impressive of all was watching fluffy pancakes being made through the glass sides of a pancake machine! Although the Racing Bar served food, it was a pity that the restaurant was closed in the evenings. Might be best to let people know before they arrive.

Stayed at the Mercure Hotel in grand Hatch Dartford , had a great time in the Racing Bar. Got served by a young man by the name of Tom. He had excellent customer service skills and made the best margaritas. Definitely recommend going there , especially if Tom is on shift.
