Andrew was very helpful when I provided feedback on the food we bought at the hotel bar. The menu looks fantastic, so we ordered among other things a pizza diavola and chips. Was then quite surprised to be served baked frozen food 20 minutes later. The pizza was basically a decent supermarket Pepperoni pizza with chilli flakes. Not bad if I was in a cafe and paid £6. But for £17.95 in a 4 star hotel I was pretty shocked. I was expecting a fresh made pizza dough. Not supermarket frozen pizza. The rooms were also on the lower side of 4 star. We were in two twin rooms. Each room was 2 single beds stuck together and space enough to move them 30cm apart. Not much. And the furnishings were all a bit 3 star. This hotel is very borderline for a 4 star hotel. One you would probably call 3.5 star. But Andrew was helpful in listening to the feedback we provided. It at least makes you feel heard when someone is able to listen to your feedback

This hotel pillows were so fluffy and the hotel was so clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The food was absolutely delicious. and I will be back. And it is only 10 minutes walk from a Tesco’s and the shopping centre and the docks

Two bonuses welcomed us at check-in. Friday is fizz day for check-in clients plus as an Accor member an upgrade was given to a suite room. Loved the space in the two-room suite and being on the top floor of the building! The hotel has become tired looking in the public space of the breakfast floor and in the bar plus outdoor drinking area. The hotel location is close to the waterfront attractions. An easy walk to the mall and restaurants (including the Beatle/music) around the CBD.

We received a warm, professional service at reception and got to check in early. The room was lovely and cool. It was very clean and comfortable. On checking out,we were able to leave our luggage whilst we went exploring. You can get a great view of the River Mersey from some rooms.

Comfortable room, but would have liked to have had a desk to work at. Nice shower. Kirsty, Jan, Emanuel and Pam looked after us well at breakfast. Well stocked buffet breakfast, pretty much anything you could want. Would be nice to have a choice of eggs rather than just scrambled.
