My stay at the Mercure Haydock in February was excellent. From the check in with Sara to the attentive bar staff Kylie, Clair, Ellie and Abbie the whole experience will make me ensure that I book back at this hotel for any future business trips in this area

Amazing time at a party for my work! Atmosphere was incredible ,all of the staff were so attentive, especially one of the servers,Emily P, who was always there to help assist with service!!! Found her such a delight! Good prices and the suite was also gorgeous! Had such a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend!

Great hotel for a work stay! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with excellent Wi-Fi that worked perfectly throughout my stay. While the room is a little dated, it has everything you could possibly need. The food was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always happy to help. I would happily stay here again.

Cold rooms & expensive drinks. Our room was very cold even with the heating turned up high. The sheets & quilt cover was very cold to the touch. When ordering drinks at the bar we were charged £1.80 on top of the price for a service charge. We refused to pay this charge even though they tried to keep charging it every time we went to the bar. I would not recommend this hotel.

I am currently staying at the Mercure Haydock Park Hotel for a couple of nights, and the experience has been very disappointing. The bed is extremely uncomfortable, the pillows are worn out, and the TV in the room is not working. The bathroom is in poor condition, with visible rust in the bathtub, which raises concerns about maintenance and cleanliness. These issues fall well below the standard expected from a Mercure brand . Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend this property, as there are far better alternatives available at a similar price.
