Excellent Clean Modern. We loved this hotel, clean, recently remodeled. Modern , quiet central location to downtown.

Very close to downtown ~ mall is within walking distance and grocery stores if needed. Plenty of casual dining choices. Restaurant was closed for the holidays but looked beautiful. Our room was great. King size bed, comfortable, clean , bathroom very nice. Staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

A very compact room but included everything needed for a one night stay. Breakfast was limited but adequate. Appreciated the gold welcome on arrival but given the hotel was sparsely occupied I was surprised that the upgrade was simply to a higher floor which didn’t achieve much as the view out the window was of a carpark. Service at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for a conference we had at the Lower Hutt Events Centre. The staff were amazing, Grazie restaurant food was really good. Loved the room, small for two adults, but the layout of the room made it seem bigger. Breakfast was meh, and the parking was a little crazy. They do need more parking. But really, those were minor inconveniences. Definitely be back again.

Nice hotel shame about the poor service

Stayed two nights and whilst the room was nice and had the usual amenities my room had no hot water on the second day of my stay. Front desk was disinterested and failed to offer me an alternative room to shower in. The staff also look unprofessional with one person wearing a brightly coloured puffer jacket on the front desk on two occasions. The included breakfast was very poor quality and not worth the $25 supposed value. I was unable to book overnight parking and nearby street parking was consistently full. For the price they need to do better.

We had an excellent stay at The Sebel Wellington. Check-in was quick and smooth, with staff who were not only professional but also genuinely warm and helpful throughout our visit. The room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable — everything we needed to feel at ease. We also enjoyed the restaurant, which offered a fine dining experience with delicious food and attentive service. Overall, we felt well looked after from start to finish and would definitely recommend The Sebel Wellington for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
