The hotel is situated just a few minutes walk from the heart of Moulins. When we last used this hotel, it was part of the Balladins chain, but the restoration by Accor has made it a much improved hotel. Because of the Covid 19 situation, the spacing of tables for breakfast made it much safer. Choice of breakfast cereals, croissants, pan au chocolate, together with fruit drinks, hot chocolate, tea and coffee made an enjoyable breakfast. Good secure car parking is also provided.

We were expecting budget accommodations, but the rooms were very spacious with a great bathroom. The location was ideal for touring the city. The breakfast was really large, with almost everything you could ask for.

The hotel was centrally located and provided parking which we always require for our car. The staff was friendly and welcoming plus breakfast was providing the good and sufficient choice we are used to when staying at the IBIS Styles brand. We stopped over in Moulins because we wanted to see the town where Coco Chanel learned as

I had planned to stay here for two nights. During my trip I decided to cancel the second night. When I arrived late evening, it was no problem to cancel. The welcome was very warm and friendly. Parking was for free as the parking area construction was not yet finished. The room was very small, too small for a european hotel. More like japanese dimensions. But for a stay over night only acceptable. Bed was comfy. No noise during the night from traffic or neighbourhood. Breakfast standard simply french but croissants were very good. I would stay here again.

The rooms here are smaller than the average Ibis. The renovation is not yet finished, especially the exterior spaces. The decoration and fittings in the rooms is idiosyncratic showing the triumph of design over practicality. There is no restaurant but there is plenty of choice of places to eat within a short walking distance. The staff are welcoming and the breakfast is fine.
