The hotel is centrally located and all Bilbao attractions are within easy walking distance. Lovely room, but the view (overlooking a series of apartments) was a bit disappointing. Receptopn staff (especially Pilar) were really helpful, and the ladies working at the bar during the evening (Susana and Joselyne) were absolute diamonds. One thing I would change would be the in-house shower gel/soap - the honey fragrance really isn't masculine at all, and the smell is quite off-putting.

Our second Holiday in Bilbao and again we have choosen the Mercure Hotel . The Service ist very good and the Hotel staff at the frontdesk are always friendly and willing to help.Free umbrellas on rainy days. The breakfast is good as well and a Restaurant with nice Bar is open all day on the ground floor. We will come Back again .

If you travel a lot and when you come here you see that this is not a 4 star hotel but more 3 star superior. The room and some hotel areas could be also more clean and tidy, however.... I like a lot the location, very central, also the breakfast was tasty and the whole hotel staff was super attentive and friendly. Enjoy!

I have travelled a lot and I see a lot of hotels, but this one has something special. Verry good staff, fresh and good breakfast. But the great surprise was before to leave I had a fast lunch and ordered and ate a burgher. What could be so special to a burgher in a gastronomic city? Well, I dare you to try it. And don't forget to ask a glass of wine. The ladies always are happy to offer the best option.

This was an excellent place to stay for our two nights in Bilbao. We had a suite which had a huge bed with a small side room with a sofa bed. Well located close to Guggenheim Museum and a 10 minute walk across the bridge to the old part. Our room was very quiet despite the fact that outside there is a bar. Nice sheets so slept really well.
