My single room was a good size. It was clean and well supplied (no tea making ability for English visitors). Breakfast was continental but with some hot items. Cafe Bar was open open for long hours. Food and drink good price and food was tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. No bag store but they were happy to keep behind reception. 15min walk to main sightseeing. Area. 5 mins to train or bus to airport

The hotel is centrally located, very close to the airport bus stop (line 22) and a large shopping center with a few coffee shops and a large supermarket. The old town is 10 minutes away. The rooms are cleaned every 4 days. There was some noise when we stayed due to a renovation but it happened only during the day.

I had an awful experience here in September 2025, and want to warn others. I have stayed at other Ibis locations and they are generally good. This Ibis is in a very old building and noise makes it very difficult to sleep. The location is central but not safe to walk around at night. The manager Christiana was dishonest and unprofessional. I do not trust this business. BECAREFUL!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic—central yet quiet, making it easy to explore the city. It’s just about a 5-minute walk to Old Riga, where you’ll find a beautiful, winding path through cobbled streets, stunning architecture, and a deep dive into the city’s rich history. The price was unbeatable, especially with a generous breakfast included that gave us the perfect start to each day. But what impressed us most was the staff. Every team member was incredibly kind, helpful, and truly committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible. Just a 2-minute walk away is Lido, a restaurant serving the best traditional Latvian cuisine we’ve ever tasted. The food was so good, we couldn’t wait to go back the next day. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, great value, and an authentic Latvian experience.
