The hotel is centrally located, very close to the airport bus stop (line 22) and a large shopping center with a few coffee shops and a large supermarket. The old town is 10 minutes away. The rooms are cleaned every 4 days. There was some noise when we stayed due to a renovation but it happened only during the day.

I had an awful experience here in September 2025, and want to warn others. I have stayed at other Ibis locations and they are generally good. This Ibis is in a very old building and noise makes it very difficult to sleep. The location is central but not safe to walk around at night. The manager Christiana was dishonest and unprofessional. I do not trust this business. BECAREFUL!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic—central yet quiet, making it easy to explore the city. It’s just about a 5-minute walk to Old Riga, where you’ll find a beautiful, winding path through cobbled streets, stunning architecture, and a deep dive into the city’s rich history. The price was unbeatable, especially with a generous breakfast included that gave us the perfect start to each day. But what impressed us most was the staff. Every team member was incredibly kind, helpful, and truly committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible. Just a 2-minute walk away is Lido, a restaurant serving the best traditional Latvian cuisine we’ve ever tasted. The food was so good, we couldn’t wait to go back the next day. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, great value, and an authentic Latvian experience.

Worst Ibis I have ever stayed in. Firstly, rooms not available on arrival at 5pm due to a shortage of cleaning staff. Had to wait with a complementary beverage for 30 minutes. Secondly, the flooring is bizarrely incredibly creaky - I have never known any floor to be as noisy. I am not sure how they managed to make it so bad. It meant that anyone walking along the corridor at any time of night would wake up people on adjacent room. The floor in the room was equally noisy. There was almost no soundproofing between my room and the corridor. Half of the rooms face an indoor courtyard used by the bar and also the school groups that seem to frequent the hotel. And at least when I stayed there, they were using this space until 2am, in between running up and down the corridors shouting and screaming at each other and banging their doors. When quiet did finally decent, unfortunately this hotel does not appear to benefit from the normal standard of Ibis bedding. Both the mattress and pillows supplied were rather uncomfortable and I awoke with a crick in my neck both morning of my stay. I am normally a big fan of the Inis brand, but if you are coming to Riga (which is a certainly worth a visit), then do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere

Great central location across from the railway station. Check in was with a lovely young girl who was very accommodating. Nice young man on the bar on the first night. First and second nights went well but the third night Girls at bar and reception seemed to spend most of their time in the courtyard smoking. Court yard was noisy until 1am. There was a large group of youths (on a school trip) who were running and screaming in the corridors past 12 midnight. The floors are already very noisy this was like a heard of elephants. A phone call to reception wasn’t answered. I ventured down stairs to discover a very young man in charge of the whole hotel. There was no one with any authority.
