I am glad we did not chose this hotel for our stay. Except for the interior design and food at the restaurant Harper's Woolf there is nothing worth positive comments. On the opposite, the overall impression from e visit to this hotel was quite negative. First of all, it's not possible to arrive at the entrance by car due to some administrative ban however I saw some cars nearby which allegedly had some special permit. It must be noted that the pavement around the hotel is the Old town style and not easy for walking especially for people with physical disabilities or simply on heels. Further, professionalism of receptionists is by far no the class of a 5 star hotel. There is no even sign of readiness to help. At the time we ere there on the eve of December 25th, it appeared that both receptionists were more engaged with themselves then guests. Service at the bar was very poor. We were waiting for a long time while one bartender was entertaining a couple of other guests and her mate was busy with something else. There were no more guests at the bar. Even a little detail of a complimentary warm drink ailed the test because the jars were empty. No desire to come back

Lovely, stylish hotel in a great central location a perfect base to explore Riga. The hotel restaurant was outstanding, amazing food and the breakfast was great as well. The spa was also a nice bonus, very relaxing and the treatments we had were amazing. Room was very comfortable and it was a great stay overall, very relaxing. Would recommend (and return!).

A quality place to stay in. Location is superb in the edge of old town with short walking distance to explore what old Riga has to offer. Room was really comfy with good bed and pillows, really clean and well organized. Staff was really helpful and service was excellent. Breakfast was also enjoyable. Really enjoyed our three nights stay in this hotel.

Гостиница оставила очень странное впечатление. С одной стороны видно что гостиница только что отремонтирована, все свежее все новое. Очень красивое лобби, бар и ресторан. С другой стороны дизайнер не позаботился об элементарном уюте в номерах. Начнём с того что умывальник отделён от комнаты стеклянной перегородкой об которую я два раза стукнулась ночью. Свет в туалете включается автоматически и гаснет когда ему вздумается. Это очень неудобно, ночью иногда хочется воспользоваться туалетом без света, но он зажигается и будит спящего партнёра. Во всём номере нет ни од-но-го крючка, на который можно было бы повесить мокрый купальник или халат после душа или спа. Мокрые вещи приходилось развешивать на ручках дверей или бросать на кровать. В номере не предусмотрен журнальный столик или тумбочка, на которые можно было бы поставить стакан чая или бокал вина. Их нужно держать в руках или вставать с дивана и ставить на стол под телевизором. Кофемашина была неисправна, для того чтобы набрать маленькую чашечку кофе, приходилось нажимать большую кнопку раз 5-6. В номере не предусмотрено молоко. Чтобы выпить чашечку кофе нужно было сделать путешествие до ресторана, дождаться когда принесут молоко и со стаканом молока возвращаться в номер. Менеджерам гостиницы необходимо исправить эти недочеты. The hotel left a very strange impression. On the one hand, it is clear that the hotel has just been renovated: everything is fresh and new. The lobby, bar, and restaurant are very beautiful. On the other hand, the designer did not take basic comfort in the rooms. To begin with, the sink is separated from the room by a glass partition, which I bumped into twice during the night. The light in the toilet turns on automatically and switches off whenever it wants. This is very inconvenient, as at night one may want to use the toilet without the light, but it turns on and wakes the sleeping partner. There is not a one single hook anywhere in the room to hang a wet swimsuit or a bathrobe after a shower or a spa visit. Wet items had to be hung on door handles or thrown on the bed. There is no coffee table or bedside table in the room where you could place a cup of tea or a glass of wine. You have to hold them in your hands or get up from the sofa and put them on the table under the television. The coffee machine was out of order: for getting a small cup of coffee, I had to press the large button five or six times. There is no milk provided in the room. To have a cup of coffee, one had to make a trip to the restaurant, wait for the milk to be brought, and then return to the room carrying a glass of milk. Hotel management needs to address these shortcomings.
