Very nice hotel and clean room. Receptionist was very helpful. Floor in the room and hallway is very noicy so take earplugs. Walls are like a paper (i could hear someone snoring in the other room at night). But still very good for the prize. Could stay again

Our choice for years. The best Ibis in this planet. The service is exelent, the girls in front desk are just so kind and helpfull. The situation is perfect. Near Origo shopping centre and railway station. You can easily walk to the old town. The rooms are comfortable.

Great place if you don't like any sleep.

I'll start with th the positive side of this review. Ive stayed in ibis hotel before but this was by far the worst. This was booked as a birthday weekend away. We had a premium the room was clean and check in was smooth and nice staff. BUT.... If you want any sleep then this hotel is not for you... you would expect noise but not to this extent..the noise levels were really really bad. The floor boards were extremely creaky like they would give way any minute and to hear that most of the night wasn't good. If only I could add audio to this review. just so whoever reads this can see how bad it was. Then on top of that we kept hearing lot of banging from outside at 2am and 5am from what sounded like metal. added noise of kids running up and down on the corridor. To top that off off and being Sleep deprived.. we had people ring the room pretending to be reception asking for room number etc It would of been a perfect trip to riga but this spoilt it alot..

Pretty basic (standard double). Negatives - one pillow only, broken lamp, no safe (as specified in room description) no tea and coffee making facilities, no hand wash or shower gel, only shampoo, low water pressure, staff ok but not over friendly. Positives - average breakfast included, cheapish, not bad location, bags can be held. Will not recommend or stay again.

Stayed here for two nights in February and I was very satisfied. It’s right in the center of the city right cross the street from the central train station and the adjacent shopping center “Origo” with s lot of shops, pharmacies, cinema, etc. There is also a Burger King and a McDonalds on the corner of the same street and just across the corner is bus stops and trolley buses stops that will take you all across the city. The airport bus also stops right across the street. The hotel itself is a standard Ibis hotel with what you could expect but with very spacious rooms and friendly staff. I was even allowed to check in 2,5 hours before original time because they had empty rooms available. The bar and the restaurant is excellent also and there’s even a function where you can connect your smartphone and cast to the TV (Android only). It’s near to the Central Tirgus (central market and the Centrala Stacija (central station). I was very pleased and it’s a great value of money too. It definitely holds up to Accor standard and the only complaint people seem to have is the creaky floor board but that is only outside the room in the corridor. Seems to be more silent on floor one but this is really not an in issue in my opinion. As previously mentioned great WiFi with possibilities to connect to the TV and stream with Android phone. Also offers transportation to the airport for an affordable price. Only concern I had was that the A/C in my room didn’t work so it was very hot but that wasn’t a big problem since it was in the middle of the winter months. Would definitely stay there again and could really recommend the hotel.
