Wunderbares Resort. Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmerservice war ebenso sehr sehr gut. Getränke und Speisen waren hervorragend. All inkl. lohnt sich. Die Over Water Villa war ein Traum, wenn auch etwas veraltete Möbel (abwaschbare Möbel ließen sich besser reinigen als Stoffe/Teppiche, etc.). Das Hausriff ist wunderschön. Das sich dort harmlose Blacktip Riffhaie aufhalten, zeigt wie gesund das Riff ist. Das Dive Center ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ich habe dort unter sehr kompetenter Anleitung meinen ersten Tauchgang machen können. Leider hatte das Resort an unserem letzten Urlaubstag wohl erneute Elektrizitätsprobleme und alle Gäste mussten ausnahmslos verlegt werden, teils auf andere Resorts andere mussten auch Flüge zurück nach Male antreten um verlegt zu werden. Da wir nur 4 Nächte gebucht hatten, hat uns dies den letzten Urlaubstag im gänzlichen leider komplett zerrissen. Der Tag bestand dann aus packen und langem Warten auf Rückmeldung, wie es weitergehen soll. Am frühen Abend waren wir dann erst im Resort (Pullman) der Insel nebenan, welche trotz eines Sternes mehr nicht annähernd so schön und ruhig war wie das Mercure auf Koodoo. Man verlangte die Unterschrift, dass man auf Rückerstattungen verzichten soll. Eigentlich sollte es genau umgekehrt laufen, dass automatisch Rückerstattungen angeboten werden sollten. Das Management sollte hier kundenfreundlicher agieren, um Reputation zu sichern. Schließlich sind Resorts pro Nacht für Kunden schon kostspieliger. Zu erwähnen ist der Inselflughafen. Am Tag bereits ab früh morgens bis in den Abend kommen und verlassen die Flieger doch lautstärker den Flughafen und teils ist der Kerosin Geruch wahrnehmbar. Alles im allem waren wir dennoch sehr zufrieden.

We would also like to kindly clarify that all guests had the right to cancel their remaining nights and receive a refund should they have preferred this option. However, we also recognize that during the peak festive season, it is extremely challenging to secure suitable last-minute accommodations in the Maldives. Additionally, due to the country’s unique geography, arranging transfers at very short notice can be complex and time-sensitive. With this in mind, our team worked under significant pressure to offer our valued guests what we believed to be the best possible solution, including upgrades to 5-star properties and full transfer arrangements, so that guests would not need to worry about finding alternative accommodation or managing logistics during an already stressful situation. Our intention was to ensure continuity of the holiday experience, even under very challenging circumstances. Your feedback regarding communication and the need for a more guest-centric approach is genuinely appreciated and has been shared with senior management for further review. While guest safety will always remain our top priority, we acknowledge that clearer communication and greater reassurance can make a meaningful difference in such situations. Wir hätten gerne eine gute Bewertung abgegeben. Leider wurden wir während des Aufenthaltes evakuiert. Wegen eines bereits seit Mitte Dezember bestehenden Problems mit der Stromversorgung, wo die Insel bereits evakuiert wurde, wurden wir ohne unser Einverständnis in andere Resorts gebracht. In unserem Fall hieß das per Flugzeug nach Male und von dort per Boot in ein wirklich furchtbares Resort. Die Bootsfahrt fand dazu noch nachts statt, es kam fast zu einer Kollision mit einem entgegenkommenden Boot. Das neue Resort war laut hatte den Charakter von Disneyland und war exorbitant teuer. Es entsprach überhaupt nicht dem was wir ursprünglich gebucht hatten. Alle Versuche das Hotel per E-Mail oder telefonisch zu erreichen blieben erfolglos. Die Mercure Gruppe war ebenfalls nicht erreichbar. Alles sehr unprofessionell und man fühlt sich als Gast über den Tisch gezogen. Bleibt abzuwarten w Ob wir auf den nun doppelten Kosten Gürtel einen Aufenthalt den wir nicht wollten sitzen bleiben.

Gutes Riff, gemütliche Anlage. Die Live Musik am Abend ist viel zu laut und auch furchtbar. Der Bereich mit Billiard , Dart etc ist nicht geöffnet. Leider sind wir mitten im Urlaub Zwangsevakuiert worden. Die Stromversorgung ist ausgefallen. Anscheinend was das bereits 2 Wochen vor unserem Aufenthalt schon einmal passiert. Alle Gäste wurden ohne vernünftige Informationen in andere Hotels der Mercure Gruppe verteilt, wir mussten mit dem Flugzeug nach Male und von dort mit einer recht unangenehmen Bootsfahrt, bei der fast ein anderes Schiff gerammt wurde, in eine schreckliche Anlage. Wirklich sehr unprofessionell. Man wurde auch nicht gefragt ob man in das vom Hotel zugeteilte Hotel möchte. Wir hatten sofort gesagt, dass uns diese Anlage nicht gefällt aber man sagte nur das lässt sich nicht ändern und wir müssen uns beeilen da das Flugzeug gleich da wäre. Diese war eher wie Disneyland, sehr laut und exorbitant teuer. Getränke und Essen zu unverschämten Preisen. Auf diverse Anrufe und Emails an das Hotel und die Mercure Gruppe bekamen wir keine Antwort. Alles in allem wurde uns der Urlaub versaut. Ohne Anwaltliche Unterstützung ist es hier anscheinend auch nicht möglich eine Einigung herbeizuführen. Sehr schade.

Dommage que nous ne pouvons pas mettre une note 0 !!!! Voyage de noce qui commence en cauchemar !!! Nous réservons le mercure en août 2025 Villa pilotis avec piscine. 4 mois avant on nous annonce que la piscine n'est plus disponible, il nous propose un geste. Nous arrivons à l'aéroport et le jour J on nous annonce que l'hôtel est fermé car le transformateur est en panne !!! Je vous laisse imaginer notre déception !! Nous sommes relogé vers un autre hôtel (cet hôtel ne connaît pas nos offres : n'est pas informé que c'est un voyage de noce, que dans le tarif nous avions des excursions de compris, que nous avons réservé un photographe pour nos photos de mariage) et nous indique que l'hôtel est complet !! Vous n'êtes pas humain de faire ca !! Nous remercions le nouvel hôtel de nous avoir accueilli.

No hagáis buceo aquí !

El resort en sí es impresionante, probablemente uno de los mejores en los que he estado: instalaciones increíbles, entorno paradisíaco y un personal muy amable, especialmente la manager y la doctora, que fueron encantadoras y estuvieron siempre pendientes de todo. Sin embargo, tengo que ser honesto sobre la experiencia de buceo, que fue muy negativa. Al reservar un buceo me informaron que costaría 122$ por inmersión que luego fueron 154.44$ . Durante la inmersión, noté que el aire estaba contaminado: pesado, con olor a gasolina. Mi dive máster bajó con nitrox mientras yo estaba con aire, y cuando le comenté que el aire estaba contaminado, me dijeron que era mentira. Añadir que para los 154.44$ que pagas el equipo está destrozado, solo está bien el jacket y el octopus. Tras la inmersión, tuve que acudir al médico, donde me diagnosticaron tensión alta e irritación en la garganta causada por el aire del buceo. Tengo pruebas de que los días anteriores buceé 50 minutos sin problemas, y ese día en este resort solo 18 minutos, justamente porque el aire estaba contaminado. En resumen: • El resort es espectacular. • No recomiendo hacer buceo ni actividades acuáticas con ellos, ya que manejan precios arbitrariamente y ponen en duda la palabra de los clientes, llegando a llamarme mentiroso que era el precio que me dijeron.( increpándome para pagar) • La atención médica y la gestión del resort son excelentes, destacando especialmente a la manager y la doctora. • El personal de buceo necesita mejoras serias; a parte que son unos mentirosos con el precio no hay un menú donde se vean los precios te lo dicen de boca para hacerte el lío.por mi parte, abriré una queja formal a PADI para que se investigue.
