However, at this stage, we are unable to rely entirely on solar energy, as a consistent and uninterrupted power supply is essential for our operations and guest comfort. Wir waren schon mehrfach in dem Resort leider hat sich in den letzten Jahren der Zustand der Anlage wegen mangelnder Wartung verschlechtert. Die Möbel in den Bungalows/Villen müssen dringend erneuert werden. Wir haben den Stuhl selber gereinigt. Die All-Inclusive Leistungen sind überteuert und könnten erheblich besser sein. Bei solchen Preisen erwartet man frisch zubereitete Cocktails und keine vorgefertigten Mischungen. Reiseleitung im Resort mangelhaft. Ständig erhält man falsche Informationen. Sonnenschirme bei den Wasservillen eine Katastrophe. Treppenzugang und Leiter zum Meer müssten eigentlich sofort erneuert werden.

Unsere Malediven-Reise war einfach perfekt! Vom Moment der Anreise bis zur Abreise wurden wir vom gesamten Team unglaublich verwöhnt und herzlich betreut. Das Resort ist klein, fein und sehr persönlich. Das All-inclusive-Buffet im Hauptrestaurant Alita war mit Abstand das beste, das wir je in einem Resort erlebt haben im Bezug auf Qualität und Abwechslung! Der Service ist durchgehend auf hohem Niveau und das Team gibt wirklich alles für die Gäste. Besonders Thiloma und Poppy im Restaurant sowie Ida im Spa haben unser Herz erobert, aber ehrlich gesagt war jeder Mitarbeiter, den wir getroffen haben, super freundlich und engagiert. Wir hatten das Glück, sowohl eine wunderschöne Strandvilla als auch eine Ocean Villa zu bewohnen – das hat den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Die Villen sind ausreichend groß, auch wenn man merkt, dass sie schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen sind und bald mal eine Renovierung brauchen könnten. Das Hausriff direkt vor der Haustür ist fantastisch zugänglich und extrem vielfältig – Schnorcheln war ein Traum (Haie, Schildkröten, Rochen, Muränen, unzählige Fische). Ein Highlight: morgens Delphine direkt von der Terrasse aus beobachten zu können. Paradiesisch!

Wunderbares Resort. Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmerservice war ebenso sehr sehr gut. Getränke und Speisen waren hervorragend. All inkl. lohnt sich. Die Over Water Villa war ein Traum, wenn auch etwas veraltete Möbel (abwaschbare Möbel ließen sich besser reinigen als Stoffe/Teppiche, etc.). Das Hausriff ist wunderschön. Das sich dort harmlose Blacktip Riffhaie aufhalten, zeigt wie gesund das Riff ist. Das Dive Center ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ich habe dort unter sehr kompetenter Anleitung meinen ersten Tauchgang machen können. Leider hatte das Resort an unserem letzten Urlaubstag wohl erneute Elektrizitätsprobleme und alle Gäste mussten ausnahmslos verlegt werden, teils auf andere Resorts andere mussten auch Flüge zurück nach Male antreten um verlegt zu werden. Da wir nur 4 Nächte gebucht hatten, hat uns dies den letzten Urlaubstag im gänzlichen leider komplett zerrissen. Der Tag bestand dann aus packen und langem Warten auf Rückmeldung, wie es weitergehen soll. Am frühen Abend waren wir dann erst im Resort (Pullman) der Insel nebenan, welche trotz eines Sternes mehr nicht annähernd so schön und ruhig war wie das Mercure auf Koodoo. Man verlangte die Unterschrift, dass man auf Rückerstattungen verzichten soll. Eigentlich sollte es genau umgekehrt laufen, dass automatisch Rückerstattungen angeboten werden sollten. Das Management sollte hier kundenfreundlicher agieren, um Reputation zu sichern. Schließlich sind Resorts pro Nacht für Kunden schon kostspieliger. Alles im allem waren wir dennoch sehr zufrieden.

At the same time, we deeply regret that the unexpected electrical issue on the final day of your stay had such a significant impact on your holiday. We fully understand how disappointing it must have been, especially with a four-night stay, to lose your last day to packing, waiting for information, and relocation. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and frustration this caused. We would like to clarify that all guests at relocation stage had option to cancel their remaining nights and receive a refund if they so wished. However, as this situation occurred during a peak travel period, securing suitable last-minute accommodation in the Maldives was extremely challenging. In addition, due to the country’s unique geography, arranging transfers at very short notice is logistically complex. Under these difficult circumstances, our team worked intensively to provide what we believed to be the best possible solution, including relocation to 5-star resorts with all transfer arrangements fully organized, so that our guests would not have the added stress of finding alternative accommodation or managing logistics themselves. Your feedback regarding the communication during this situation and the expectation of a more guest-centric approach in cases beyond the guest’s control is very valuable to us. We also note your comments regarding the booking communication prior to arrival, particularly concerning flight and transfer details. We would like to kindly clarify that, due to the operational reality of the Maldives, domestic flight schedules are often finalized only a few days in advance, as they depend on the airline’s routing and operational planning. For this reason, confirmation of domestic flight timings and related transfer details can unfortunately only be shared closer to the arrival date. That said, we fully understand your expectation for earlier communication, especially when bookings are made well in advance, and we acknowledge that clearer and more proactive updates would help manage expectations better. All of these points have been shared with our management team and are being carefully reviewed as part of our ongoing improvement efforts. We would also like to thank you for your positive ratings on our sustainability initiatives, cleanliness standards, breakfast selection, and the professionalism of our team.
