Very loud at night not a good location , pillows not clean , and staff walk. In your room whenever they want ?? I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Booked Mama Shelter based on reviews and the fact it was good value. The hotel is great - very modern, very hip and a great vibe. The rooms are simple but comfy and clean and who doesn’t want a stormtrooper mask on their headboard. The staff however are fantastic. Probably the nicest staff I’ve ever come across - super helpful, kind and friendly. Hotel is slightly out of the way but easily accessible via metro and/or bus. It was nice staying in a non touristy neighbourhood. Highly recommend.

Great hotel - beautifully designed and lit. Rooms big for Paris. We had dinner on the first night at the restaurant/bar. Lovely food and a DJ playing classics at just the right volume. The thing that is really special about the hotel though is the cool, laidback atmosphere and the engaging, friendly, intelligent, funny staff. Would def stay again.

An excellent hotel, wonderful stuff, beautiful environment. The rooms are pleasantly laid out and air conditioned. There’s a really lovey scent around the hotel, too. Can’t wait to revisit.

Terrible experience at the bar

The service at the bar was terrible, the two female bar tenders were not professional. We ordered a drink and the first bartender disappeared then after we called the second one dismissed us in a very rude way to never come back to take our order. It wasn’t until the male bartender came for him to take out order.
