The staff are fantastic but Mercure let them down. The rooms are motel style, very ordinary. Arriving in our room, it was freezing. We're in the middle of Winter and Goulburn is a very cold place. One wall heater that took ages to warm the room. The bathroom is huge, barren and freezing. This is not a hotel but a motel. The restaurant furniture and decor could be improved upon, a roaring fire would be a great idea. However, the staff were lovely and friendly and the food excellent.

When visiting Goulburn, we always stop at the Mercure Goulburn. The room we had this time was a little disappointing as there were some maintenance issues. The soap dispenser did not work on the vanity, one of the bedside lamps was non-operational and going to breakfast the next morning walking along the verandah, a section of outside lighting was not working making it hard to see, as it was a dark wet morning. The room was clean and tidy, along with the bathroom which has a good size shower, but we did not like the toilet paper dispenser. Improvements could be made here. We had breakfast in the dining room the following morning. From our last visit, the choice of food has improved, which is good to see, along with a better choice of fruit and croissants.

Visiting Goulburn with family for a graduation at the Police Academy. Booked a 2 bedroom family unit. Perfect.

This is a clean, well maintained motel. Great for family group. Good value for money. All facilities provided and staff helpful and friendly. The kitchen was well stocked with a mini bar if you wished. Great location near a bakery and McDonalds for family dinner. Warm when we arrived on a cold day.

The room was very shabby, hidden around the back and obviously in need of an update. Old tatty furniture, no lounge, even though specified, just not up to the standard we were expecting

Awesome stay and after a long drive the very comfy and warm bed was welcomed after a long drive from Queensland. The rooms are modern and very clean and its in a good location with a great view of the giant Merino Sheep. Easy parking and whilst we did not have dinner there the restaurant looks lovely. The team looking after us were amazing and very friendly. Great price and book direct on the Accor app to get great savings .
