This is a beautiful hotel with well appointed and spacious rooms and it's location is unparalleled. We had a King Jr. Suite and it was great. My wife enjoyed the massive soaker tub and I loved the views. The food is excellent as well (Raspberry Croissant is to die for), but the staff send it to the next level. They helped us arrange for bikes to spend the Sunday cycling on Reforma, set up spa services, and were always attentive to every detail. Jany, the Guest Experience Manager and her staff were truly outstanding - to name a few, there were Natalia, Natalie, Alexandra, Laura, and others who's name escape me at the moment. The Bellman, Valets and housekeeping staff were all great as well. I would highly recommend staying at Sofitel Reforma for a true 5 Star Experience.

I'm a bit torn, because I don't want to give it a full five star, but it's not as low as a four star rating. It would be a 4.5 to 4.75 star rating from me for one small thing..., I'm a bath guy and my room only had a shower. Otherwise this was a great hotel and room to stay when in Mexico City. From the start the staff was attentive, helpful and courteous, which I appreciated as a non-Spanish speaker. I loved the view of Mexico City from the room, especially at night. The layout and size of the room was great, giving you a constant line of sight of the view. There were plenty of amenities in and out of the room as various features were automated, like the blinds. Everything was clean, with the space to work and handle luggage. There was precious little noise, allowing a good night's sleep. As for food, I only ate breakfast, which was good. It's in a very interesting spot in Mexico City. Very safe because the American Embassy is next door and with a few familiar stores around for food, shopping and exploring.

Location is good and a bit tricky for the first time coming as it is hiding a bit. Otherwise good location neighbouring us embassy. Great access to all restaurants and bars around the main street. Idea place if you are here for Dias de muertos. Just a heads up to book a window table at the hotel bar or go outside hours before the show starts, otherwise you can not see anything with huge crowds in front of you. Great trendy rooms with nice furniture and big windows viewing the whole city and the famous main street. Executive lounge is nice with great view the same as swimming pool area on top floor with large glass windows.

Wonderful stay friendly staff. Helpful restaurant staff. Enlish and french speaking staff. Some even speak Spanish. Breakfast is the best. Ever have french toast in a french restaurant in a french hotel. Only problem is sometimes demonstrations in front if us embassy next door. Closes street access a little.

We arrived on Halloween during Dia de los Muertos. A week before I arrived I had contacted Regina from the concierge group to arrange something special for a birthday we were celebrating. Not only did they allow us early check in but cake, balloons and flowers were already there upon our arrival! Dinner at Pujol? Done! Last minute tours during the busiest weekend of the year? No problem. Regina, Beto, Max and Jose went the extra mile every step of the way and provided first class service. The hotel is new and beautiful. The view from the indoor pool is spectacular. The spa was intimate and relaxing. I will stay at Sofitel Mexico City for all future trips there and I will explore other properties in the brand.
