Swimming pool is not for public but the spa center is! Perfect thing to do with your loves one. Oh if you have any membership at Accor, u may have some coupons for the spa. Will come back.

Stayed here and they gave me a crampy and musty room with no sunlight. The windows were facing an escalator. The faucet in the bathroom sink was broken. And the absolute worst was the fact that the pillows were yellowish,old and uncomfortable as if the pillows hadn't been replaced in ten years. The response to my complaint was lip service only. Even smaller hotels and homestays in Jogja gave a better service than this one.

I attempted to eat dinner at Purple twice. The first experience featured food that was to say the least underwhelming. A microwaved meal would be Michelin grade compared to the bland, tasteless, hopeless fare I received. On the second occasion I waited fifteen minutes and never had my order taken. The location is terrible as well, nothing within a 45 minute drive worthy of visiting.

I am an Accor Platinum tier member. I booked a mid-category room, but the staff gave me an executive room when I checked in. The executive room is the highest category room in this hotel, excluding suites. The room had a large sofa, a neat desk, a bench under the bed, and the area was larger than I thought. I received a large cake as welcome food, which was very tasty. The swimming pool is located outside the restaurant on the 8th floor, but no one swims except in the morning because it is hot. The restaurant is quite large and there are tables outside. The breakfast salad options are not very diverse, so I hope they improve this. The other menus were fine. Like most Grand Mercure hotels in Indonesia, this hotel does not have an executive lounge. However, considering the price of the hotel, it is understandable. The welcome drink voucher can be used at the restaurant on the 8th floor and the bar on the 1st floor, but the bar on the 1st floor seems to be open from 2pm. I ordered steak and Indonesian cuisine at the restaurant on the 8th floor, and it was more delicious than I expected, and the steak was really great. It was so delicious that I can only describe it as delicious. The spa on the second floor is a third-party business and Accor points cannot be accumulated. Since the spa staff did not speak English, I could not ask if room charges were possible. However, the attitude of the spa staff and the massage itself were very satisfactory. It seems that you can receive treatments directly at the spa or in your room. As for the cons, first of all, the curtains in the room were hard to open and close. Even though I am a former soldier, the curtains were so stiff that it was difficult to open them. Also, the room did not seem to be perfectly cleaned. I found a few women's hairs. Also, when I went out with my luggage after checking out, there were two staff members in the lobby and three more people including a security guard outside, but instead of opening the car door or trunk, they all just watched me load my luggage into the car. This was even though there were no guests checking out and no cars entering the hotel at the time. If this is the case, I don't understand why so many security guards are needed. What was even funnier was that as I was loading my luggage and getting into the car, an Indonesian family's car came in and the security guards immediately opened the car door and helped them with their luggage. Is it because I'm a foreigner and they don't think they'll see me again in the future? I don't know :P
