We stayed here in fact are just checking out , as it’s right next door to big car world dealership so ideal for convenience, But back to the hotel , our room was gorgeous large shower cubicle and large bath the children couldn’t wait to get in, Very clean , iron and ironing board , dressing gowns and slippers . Beds were really comfy only downfall for me were the pillows to hard as I have neck and bk trouble . There is an expression machine but we prefer cappuccino , everyone’s taste isn’t the same . Our evening meal was lovely no complaints. Breakfast was lovely everything you need from tapas , cooked breakfast, croissant, fruit , cereal , my one son ate the lot , The staff were welcoming and friendly to the point my son had a temperature and just wanted a hot chocolate so the girl on duty went and made him a special one We couldn’t ask for more , hotel is lovely and quiet , No charging points for electric cars is the only downfall. Overall highley recommended

Poor standard of room and housekeeping lets everything down.

Second visit to this hotel, and sadly I think I will try another one based on this experience. When I arrived I was given a room at the top floor which was great, however on getting into the the room realised this was not going to be as comfortable stay as previous. The room was tired and in places had ground in dirt. The curtains had stains on them (some very high up that I shudder to think how they got there). The carpet had marks and dirt. I get some of these things aren't easily cleaned but a base standard in rooms should be kept. The air con unit really struggled to warm up the room, and actually it was better left off. The bed sheets etc were clean and had no concerns with it. An unusual thing was the empty fridge in the room with a bright light on constantly. Eventually I had to go find the plug and disconnect it otherwise would have got no sleep at all. Housekeeping was the biggest issue, which kind of felt like everything was done in a rush. The shower door had dirt streaks on it that were never cleaned off throughout the stay. A massive hair was stuck to the shower door which never moved (I didn't bother to touch it to see if it would get cleaned off). The shower gel was never refilled, but thankfully it just made it through to my last day, but I really was having to make an effort and a half to get the last bits out. And what was really bad was on evening returning to my room to find that housekeeping had wedged the door open (assume as part of their cleaning) and forgot to close the door. My room was wide open for anyone to go into. Thankfully all my valuables were with me during the day but who knows what would have happened if not or if anyone was in the room - and we know what sort of things people do (yuck!). The plus points: front desk and front of house staff were great as always. When I flagged the issue with the front desk, they immediately apologised and I had a free drink with my meal on the house (albeit my company benefited from that not me!). Food portions are great and breakfasts spot on. Your staff are always super friendly and helpful. Prior visit was really good - nice room, clean and no issues. This visit was a let down in terms of the quality of the room and the aforementioned house keeping issues. I will actively try elsewhere now should I be in the vicinity.

Hotel confortevole, Comodo per una sosta di una notta durante un viaggio di lavoro. Personale cordiale. Pulito. Colazione standard , niente di eccezionale ma OK. Ristorante pienissimo, servizio un po' lento ma cordiale. Buon rapporto qualita'/prezzo.

Albergo di ripiego, in mezzo al nulla, prenotato da una pessima agenzia viaggi (RALLO, Mestre VE) per un viaggio che doveva avere come base Sheffield. Al di là della posizione scomoda, nulla a che vedere con l'altro Mercure Hotel di Sheffield centralissimo. Nulla da ridire se non fosse stato per i materassi troppo morbidi, pessimi per il benessere della schiena. Alla richiesta di poterli cambiare ci è stato risposto che non vi erano modelli differenti ma avrebbero provveduto a sistemare una tavola tra la rete e il materasso stesso. Peccato che non l'abbiano mai fatto!
