Clean, practical, modern. I usually stay in 5* or 4* hotels but for the context of one night or two during a family trip, the IBIS concept suits me perfectly. The hotel paradigm is changing and IBIS has understood that.

Reception or manager are not friendly, not polite We have head the conversation with one family. When we entered the room and hall , we have experienced drastic mixed smell of drugs and nicotine although as a gold member we have mentioned NON-smoking room is required. For this stay they need to return us the paid amount as the smell coursed respiratory problems. The rooms are very dirty

Ideal stop over after travelling through France on Friday. We had a double room and family room the latter a very good size. Friendly staff and nice coffee in the morning to start you off. Better signage to the hotel off the main road would assist greatly for first timers!

Good and nice surrounding. Good position for activities in Chamonix and to visite Megeve a nice and beautiful village also with a near beautiful waterfall. The hotel is surrounded by good Resaurants, Mc Donalds and Carefour supermarket. Very helpful and friendly staff and very clean. Very good value money paid.

Quality. This hotel is excellent value with nice people, very helpful - very helpful - charming staff. Not your average in this standard of hotel. It was noticeable how pleasant and outgoing the staff were.

We extended in our stay after the 3 originally planned nights with 2 additional ones, since we were satisfied with our stay in this hotel. Modern, quiet, simple but practical setting. Nice and helpful staff. Possibility of having a pasta dinner, but also there is a self service restaurant just the neighbouring shopping area. Please take care as some navigation system may give you wrong directions, just go to the Carrefour parking area and you will see the connecting route to the hotel. The breakfast is OK, maybe it could be improved for those who would like to decrease the carbohydrate level. (e.g. liver pate, etc. as in other German Ibis budget hotels...) We definitely wanted to underline that the staff is very hard working and kind. They are a big asset for this hotel. I am sure that we will come back to this hotel. Do not miss Sallanches, it is a lovely small town, and the small lakes, particularly if the weather is fine. Good for swimming. But also there are several walking routes nearby. You can reach Chamonix within 20-30 minutes, so this is a really good place for exploration trips. Just another advice to the hotel, maybe some hanging possibilities could be installed for clothes or for the towels.

Ideally situated near the French/Italian border and in walking distance of a supermarket and places to eat. Easy to park and has magnificent views of Mont Blanc. Check in is easy with a code issued in advance for the key pad to the room.

I am satisfied with the facilities that the hotel offers and the staff who is very nice. I would add some fresh vegetables for the breakfast. No other recommendations. You could add some music TV channels

Went in to our room and it ponged of marijuana. I believe it was coming in from the air con unit as the hotel was a non smoking hotel. Bed sheets looked like they weren't changed. I guess this is what it means by budget Ibis. And the entrance is not very clear how to enter the site. You have to right around McDonald's restaurant which isn't clear when it's dark.

The hotel is easy to find with a good view of Mont Blanc. There is a supermarket, petrol station and a fast food outlet nearby. Parking space was adequate. Room is clean and tidy but very small. Stayed in a triple room of a different budget hotel in Annecy the night before. Although the price was similar, it was nearly twice the size.

The hotel was nice and clean; we had a family room. It is a basic hotel, pretty new (opened in Fall of 2015). My only complaint is that I asked for our beds to be changed and they were not. Eventually they got changed the next day. Offering free coffee in the morning would be nice; the paying coffee machine that is in the lobby makes an awful coffee. We had a car and the hotel has its own gated (free) parking and it is easily accessible from the highway.

Nice little affordable place. One issue is the air circulation: if there is someone smoking in the building (whether allowed or not, people will do it) , you may smell it in your room. This was the case for us in 2 out of 3 nights.

Stayed here for 1 night on our way back to UK. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was fine, room was good, there is a lift which was most welcome. If you an get a room overlooking Mont Blanco it would be amazing, provided its not raining! Would come back again.

I highly recommend Sallanges Ibis Budget hotel, it was exactly suitable for my stay which was to be close the the Hospitaux du Pays du Mont Blanc. I must stress the kindness and helpful member of staff on duty during my stay was most appreciated. Thank you very much.
