Clean room with a view, room service is every 2 days once which was okay by us. Decent breakfast menu at 18 SGD, free for kids, but it can be improved. Great staff, ample drinking water facilities, quick check in and check out. We are happy with this stay

Plus are the rooms. I liked the room very much, it is cozy, and the door that is same door for bathroom as well as for the shower is just very stylish. The room is fantastic with a nice view. Swimming pool is only 1,2m deep, and only open until 21:00. Once when I wanted to swim I was almost pulled out of the water as it was slightly raining (some rest drops after rain). In other hotels this is now problem. I understand in full rain, but it was about to stop. The surrounding is a bit difficult. The MRT is not far away (Station Mattar). The pubs that are on the frontside to the street (hotel entrance is at the back) are a bit weird and I would not like to walk there in the middle of the night. If not arriving buy taxi it will be hard to find the entrance as it is on the rear. Alltogether it is ok compared to the price, it is a budget hotel and for that price there is nothing to complain. If you are looking for luxury you are wrong here. If you look for a nice place to sleep then this might be your choice.

Not for egg lovers

This is a 3-star hotel and while the room was ok, the $17.99 breakfast menu didn't include the choice of fried eggs or an omelette! Most of our group wanted them but we were met with "we have no egg station" (although a kind Indian chef sneaked me some with "only for you sir") You had the choice of watery tasteless scrambled eggs or hard boiled (with the emphasis on 'hard') eggs cooked till blue and tasteless... If you hate eggs, ibis is for you. But if you're an egg lover... go some where else!

Inexpensive, but slightly disappointing Singapore hotel

We booked two rooms for two nights. One room was ready on our arrival; the other took a LONG time to be ready (well after the scheduled check-in time). The rooms were uncomfortably small, with no wardrobes. Breakfast was OK, but not as international as we had hoped. The reception area was small and often congested with people waiting to check in or check out. The hotel was within a reasonable distance from a Metro station, but there was very little else around the area.

WORST HOTEL IN SINGAPORE

I recently stayed at Ibis MacPherson, booked through Agoda, and was disappointed with the experience. Initially, the promise of daily free shuttle bus services to Chinatown, Orchard, and Tai Seng, as stated on the Agoda website, influenced my decision. However, upon arrival, I discovered the shuttle service wasn't free as advertised. Instead, it required an additional payment of $35 per trip and was available only upon request. This discrepancy between advertised and actual services greatly inconvenienced my family, especially given the hotel's less-central location and the need to walk to transportation hubs in rainy weather without shelter. Adding to the disappointment was the unprofessional conduct of the reservation manager, GEM. Despite booking through Agoda, GEM insisted I had booked through Booking.com during a conversation that lasted a minute. Her behavior was unwarranted and reflected poorly on the hotel's customer service standards. Furthermore, GEM's false statement that my family declined offered transport, when they were actually asked to pay $35 per trip, is unacceptable. It's essential for Ibis to uphold integrity in its business practices, especially regarding advertised services. Such incidents, along with similar complaints on Google reviews, tarnish Accord's reputation and Singapore's tourism industry.
