Very good city hotel. The location is perfect, there is a bus stop right in front of the entrance and you can reach the airport by bus within 10min. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The room was compact, clean and very quiet. Breakfast was very nice too. Staff are friendly. I will be staying there again next time when I am in town.

One staff for reception is not sufficient Cleaning is too bad I think it is outsourced and low quality

Mercure Hotel Dusseldorf Zentrum is a 3star hotel not very far from Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main rail road station) and also from the center of the Old Town (Altstadt) but you have to take the public transportation means (Bus or Metro). The room was clean and safe. The bar has charged reasonable prices. The breakfast seemed to me basic (although I did not have taken it).Convenient to be reached from Dusseldorf Hbf (main train station) with Bus 721 and 722 with a stop just outside the hotel. Also the U-bahn (Underground or Metro) is not far from the hotel. I found very convenient the fact that the Bus 721 which stops outside the hotel brings you directly to the Airport. In general I was satisfied with my stay at he Mercure Hotel Dusseldorf Zentrum and I suggest it, because of the very good service, the good value for money and the very good public transportation connections towards the city center and the airport.

Cleaning Needs Improvement

Cleaning shall be improved, my sheet and the mastress was dirty, I informed reception, put the card yo change sheet but until my 2nd last day nothing changed! Luckily I met Ms Nastaran at the reception she seriously took care of problem and finally I could sleep with clean sheet, Cleaning is very low quality, corridors need fresh air, at the breakfast finished items shall be refilled and Reception staff is not enough only one person and check out was not nice and the lady told she is only one person she can not know everyting in an aggressive manner not Mercure quality. Reception needs attentive personnel like Ms Nastaran she is attentive and helpful and reception needs 2 personnel for quality service

We stayed 1 night for the Dusseldorf christmas markets. It is about a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel to the center/alt stad but there are also buses going. Parking was free in the street across from the hotel. Staff was very friendly, especially the man at night who was really enjoying talking to guests. Room was okay, but basic. Our bed had a pit in the mattress which did not sleep very nice, but overall we had a good stay
