Great location. If arriving in bus this is where you should stay. Unfortunately the beds are awful!! They do not have a mattress only a “type of mattress”. This new version where they place big bottles of shampoo-hand soap-body wash in shower and sink is awful! It’s the same for everything.

The hotel follows Ibis quality standards in terms of maintenance and cleaning. It is located near the Querétaro's main bus station, connected to it by a walkway, but I think it is not safe to go through it. It was necessary to take a taxi or uber to go anywhere in the city. In most cases, the service was cold, impersonal and not very hospitable. Unfortunately, I would not say that I felt welcome in this hotel as I felt in many Ibis Hotels all over the world.

I went on a business trip to Queretaro and decided to stay at the Ibis hotel due to being close to my work location. The room were very very small with almost no space between the bed and the hall, the bathroom was extremely small including the shower. The bed had the worst pillows I had in any hotel. Overall a not very pleasant experience, I suggest anyone to go for a different hotel.

The IBIS hotel in Queretaro is one affordable and nice option for those seeking for a business casual class option in that city. I've been visiting the hotel for the last three years, when recently it opened doors and since then I have visited in time to time. I have seen how it has keep the good work in the restaurant., however I've also seen how the infrastructure has lacked of a proper maintenance, giving a sense of unnecesary and a fast aging. One of the two elevators is not working, and some posters seen along the hotel are in bad shape without replacing them.

We're driving through Mexico with two dogs and have been extremely diligent with researching hotels that are pet friendly to avoid any issues upon check in. Hotel Ibis caught our eye as it is advertised as being pet friendly and for its reasonable price. When we reached Queretaro at 7pm after driving for 14 hours, we called Hotel Ibis and spoke to a front desk representative and explained that we were looking to stay with one large dog and one small dog. She quoted us 200 additional pesos for each dog and told us that the best price for the room would be if we booked online. Upon arriving at the hotel (not even 20 minutes later, with the room already paid for) we were informed by Angelica that there was a 1 dog limit and then subsequently, that they also had a size limit. Nowhere was this stated online, or during our conversation on the phone. The customer service was terrible, we were met with rudeness and a "not our problem" attitude. It was obvious they were making up the "rules" as they went - saying that they need to charge us for a room with two beds (what?!?), that they would be charging us 300 pesos per dog instead, and that a 1000 pesos damage deposit would now be required. The one redeeming factor was that after some serious back and forth they did cave and let us stay for the original agreed upon rate + the damage deposit. In short - if you are traveling with pets, save yourself the frustration and KEEP LOOKING!!!! They may say they allow pets, but this is NOT A PET FRIENDLY HOTEL!
