We recently organized the Garba Event Launching Function at Grand Mercure on September 1st. Despite the challenging circumstances caused by the severe rain and flooding in Baroda, which resulted in significant damage to the hotel, including 20 feet of water in the basement and a complete power outage, the event was a resounding success. We are deeply grateful to Mr. Prabal, Mr. Deepak Singh, Mr. Kanubhai, Mr. Rambabu, Mr. Gopalbhai, S. Tara, Kimte, Mavte, and the entire staff, including those working behind the scenes, for their extraordinary efforts. It was a pleasant stay in Surya palace. The hospitality you guys offered was exceptional. Food and accommodation were descent. Although we had lot of issues with the floods during our stay, the hotel management ensured we were comfortable and ensured we were safe, without any issues. We stayed there for two nights without power and limited food, considering the situation I would like to applaud them for their efforts/service.
