Very helpful friendly and polite staff. Food was excellent. Good choice of vegetarian Gujarati food and non veg Indian and European dishes. I enjoyed the pool and gym. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. Very handy to Sayaji Baug botanical garden and zoo, which I used to walk to every morning. Plenty of well priced souvenirs at the market directly across the road. Overall I sent a very enjoyable 2 weeks at the Surya Palace

Shower was not working properly at 30 deg temp setting also room temperature was cool like 23 deg C moist like smell for first few hours

Buffet breakfast is Super: Restaurant staffs are very friendly, we tried lunch and dinner, you can have good choice of Veg and non veg food. Variety of breads are available at your request. I was staying in 4th floor, I got strange noise from 5th floor. I just informed the receptionist, they solved it immediately
