Convenient location and comfortable room. Can’t hear the aircraft at the adjacent airport but the loud air con and fridge made up for that. Dirty bathroom sink and walls and the standard North Qld mould in the shower. Went to order breakfast in the restaurant from the ‘sides menu’ where items were individually priced - I was just after some simple avo on toast rather than a loaded plate from the main menu, and was surly told sides could only be ordered if you order a main meal. Daft.

So incredibly rude. We walked in and said Hi he said Name I told him he then said Name again hence I said it louder. He said credit card I said here you are and got nothing back no response. He said room 999 and my husband said where do we park can we go in and out he said yes. That's the conversation. I very quietly pop my head over and asked if he was always rude? He said no and off we went. We paymkney kn the Accor club for the last 20 years. Seems yoy getctreated poor everywhere qith accor.

Been coming for years as it’s at the airport. Now Cheap for a reason. Cleanliness - poor at best, glass ring marks and even hair on bedsides, greasy food marks on bench, dirty hand marks on walls. Carpet stains next to bed. The jug had water in it for lord knows how long as it had floaters in it. Dust on all areas that don’t get touched, bathroom wall light fittings, towel rails, showers getting mouldy. Maintenance - Mattress so worn you are on the base, ended up sleeping on the floor. Directional bedside lights not working. Bench seat next to table missing the cushion. Food - Seriously for a $25 schnitzel, you would expect not to get a highly process lump of so called chicken that I think there was more oil running out than meat. Complained at the bar and all I got was a smile and sorry sir, chips was good but you get more at Maccas small fries!! This was a nice place, but slipping away, locals used to come to eat at times here but is now they don’t for a reason and when I speak to locals (have an office here) they laugh at me when I say I eat there.

Charged Credit card for cancelled stay

Booked 4 rooms for myself and work colleagues however had to cancel and rebook for the following week. Cancelled with 4 days notice before stay on a flexible booking only to find the charge on my card.

Sorry but. . . . you guys need a Customer Service person to clean out the internal systems so people can get served. Check in is fine, as is check out, but the bar service is TERRIBLE. There are queues and queues, and when you have one person doing meals and drinks, it takes a LONG time to serve 6 people. By that I mean 20 minutes! I only wanted a beer, but the girl on the bar had to do room service, so off she went! Gone. Really bad I am sorry. . . .
