I am a frequent visitor at Ibis Mackay. On previous occasions and again on this stay I have had my card debited erroneously for mini bar usage. I have never and will never use a mini bar in this hotel. Upon trying to fix this problem my card was charged again! To the best of my knowledge it has still not been rectified. Simply not good enough.

The room was comfortable and pleasant. The restaurant was nice, and the steak was excellent. The waitress was good, but the ordering system for dinner was poor. There was only one person taking orders and they were also getting drinks at the bar. This slowed ordering down massively.

Excellent stay. Front of house staff were extremely helpful. Happy to store my freezer bag (of expressed milk for my baby). The vegetarian pizza was burnt underneath & mostly inedible the last time I ordered it (stay- last year) so wasn't expecting much this time (limited veg options on dinner menu) but was happily surprised that it was really good on the most recent stay.
