I had a lovely stay at Novotel Taiping. The location is excellent, with beautiful views & easy access to the town & nearby attractions. As an Accor Plus Platinum member, I appreciated the warm recognition & thoughtful benefits, which made the stay even more comfortable. The staff were attentive, friendly & always willing to help. The buffet spread was enjoyable, with a good variety of tasty & well-prepared food. A relaxing & well-managed hotel that offers great service & value, I’d be happy to return.

Good hospitality show from the entire team especially .... Check in Miss Gie- Wonderful and full with knowledge Restaurant - Hanis ,Phoebe,Rashmieka for the superb welcoming and service Chef Naza from simple ,nice and fresh omelette .. During check out again been impressed by 2 lovely person Mr Sirus and Ms Aisha Kudos guys ...

Booked the presidential king suite to celebrate my Dad’s birthday during the 2nd weekend of Oct. Many many thanks to James, Mr Lee and team for the excellent service and the generosity rendered in making the celebration a very happy and memorable one.

Good hotel for the money.

We stayed one night here on our way to Penang, the hotel is located on top of a shopping mall and has it's own parking section in the garage (Level 6). Check in was smooth and our room was ready early which was great. Room itself was fine lovely big bed and a extra chair, the view was over the back of the hotel and the shopping mall so not much to see. We did use the gym in the evening which was adequate, there wasn't a lot of equipment and the equipment there wasn't great but there were a lot of machines for cardio exercise. Breakfast in the morning was okay, despite having items on our table our table was taken by someone which was annoying but we were moved once staff realised.

Serial repeat guest at Novotel Taiping and why wouldn't I be? :) :) This hotel is just the best and second to none in town. Central location, free parking (on Level 6; make sure you park within the designated area), walking distance to Lake Gardens, eating places (high-end and hawker fare) and countless other plus'. Taiping Mall which is adjacent also provides shopping opportunities if you're looking for a little retail therapy. Swimming pool and well-equipped gym round off the facilities provided at this property. My room this time on the 13th floor (highest) boasted all-round views of the hills and town centre, was well appointed and had all that was required (hot "rain" shower, in-wall charging, pay-tv access Netflix etc) including coffee machine! Had the opportunity (and privilege) to bump into James Chan the General Manager who was all about service and had a good chat; delightfully down-to-earth and welcoming. Other notable staff were the ever familiar Siras who is always on hand to greet me when I (re)visit and the F/O ladies (all familiar faces) - which makes me feel like "coming home". That is true nature of hospitality. Keep up the good work, Novotel Taiping team!
