Antithesis between the rooms and the techno clad neutral facade, Excellent basic room and view with furnishings for a 4* whereas the price was commodious. Quite on the river with excellent morning misty views that late cool March evening. An extraordinary recommendation to eat at the Corriere Trattoria 3' walk away. Not improvable but for the reddish granite red blazing lounge and breakfast room. Staff young, articulate and of good advice. Parking lot in front.

The only way to save it is to demolish

Terrible place. Dirty, moldy, so run down that you forget you are in Italy and not it some third world country. The aircon was super loud, turning on automatically in the middle of the night few times. Sheets not too clean, dust everywhere. The hotel is split in 2 buildings and the further building is does not look to be maintented well. The smell in the halls was terrible.

Family stay in Parma

Good central location, approx 10 minutes from the main city centre. We were in a superior room at the annex which is about a 5 minute walk. As you leave the hotel turn left and go straight until you see the Teatro Due and the entrance is behind there. Room was large, separate room for the children, clean, table and chairs to eat meals if needed. Bathroom was large with a really good shower and beds were very comfortable. Staff very helpful with check in and booked us a taxi when we left for the station. Luggage storage is in reception and free, we didn't have breakfast but it looked good at 8 euros per adults children under 16 are free. Would stay here again and recommend.

The worst experience ever in Italy .Such a lovely country however at this hotel I do regret my choice!

We have been to different parts of Italy and been to different hotels ,other 3stars too .At Ibis The worst experience ever!!!main receptionist point,stay and parking all are in different parts !!Additionally we have been charged for parking without any information at the receptionist desk that parking they are offering for us is for extra charge !Filthy rooms ,unfriendly staff a simple jungle in Europe!Avoid!!For that price there are much more comfortable places to stay !

Hey, it's cheap!

I've stayed in a lot of Ibis Styles hotels over the past few years, probably more than 100 in total in the UK, France, Italy, Germany . . . either with my band or with my family. It's almost always a comfortable, mid-level standard, much like a Mercure or a Premiere Inn sort of range. This one is below that normal standard, honestly it's about a 2 to a 2 1/2 out of 5, but I gave it a 3 rating entirely because the check-in guy was so friendly and personable - and he was. Because I was with my family on this trip, we were put in the "annex" about 400 meters away from the main building, so I have no idea what the rooms in the main hotel are like, but the annex felt like a youth hostel that had been quickly painted and re-labeled an Ibis Styles. It was very much like a dorm room at a US community college, right down to the built-in chipboard furniture and vinyl flooring. But hey . . . It was clean, and it is right near the center of Parma, just a couple blocks walk from the main restaurant and shopping streets, a few minutes walk to the market square, with an underground parking garage right underneath it, so it you're down for rough-and-ready accommodation that's right in the thick of it for cheap (I think I paid 75€ for a family of 4), then this is your joint, cowboy. If you want posh, this ain't it.
