This combo apartment/hotel, while small, is very nice. It has the basics: bed, bath, table and chairs, and a kitchenette with fridge, stove burners, coffee maker and sink. There is no maid service unless you pay extra, and you are asked to empty the trash when you leave, but it is very comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. The small kitchenette allows you to make meals on your own, although the hotel does offer breakfast for 11 Euros. It is conveniently located near place de la I Bastille and we were able to walk to many areas. I would go back there without hesitation. We were quite comfortable and the staff were courteous. It was clean and we felt safe there. Hard to ask for more, and the price was quite good. No more than a motel in a no-name town, and this is in Paris!

Friendly helpful reception. Elevator. Large clean single with well equipped [corkscrew included] kitchenette with microwave, two burner stove, and refrigerator. On a quiet street a five minute walk from the first elevated park in the world, built on an abandoned railway line. Several grocery stores, patisseries, restaurants and many other useful stores nearby. Place Bastille metro a 5 to 10 minute walk away, about a 15 minute walk to Gare Austerlitz for the RER to Versailles. A short walk to Place des Vosges , Musee Carnavalet and Le Marais.

Avoid this hotel at all costs, especially booking through Accor. The customer service is terrible, I had to cancel because I was hospitalized and they were unable to provide a solution. Better of making a reservation through booking as they provide solutions for their customers.

Beware the distinction Adagio and Adagio Access

This place isn’t great. It’s my own fault for not realising ‘Adagio Access’ is a sub-brand of ‘Adagio’ and the quality is vastly different. There were ants in the bathroom, and the room was very uncomfortable. I have happily stayed at Accor properties across Europe and Asia ranging from Ibis Budget to Sofitel Legend for business and personal travel and have never encountered such a low standard before. I will be very careful in future to make sure not to book Adagio Access, which seems a pity as Ibis Budget is always great, in my experience.

The ants found in your bathroom were specific to your room. After investigating further we found food on the floor of your bathroom and hallway and questioned whether the ants had been mistakenly brought into your room. We verified each floor and departure rooms that day and did not find any other studio with this issue. Our colleague accompanied you to your studio on the second floor to verify your complaint and changed your room to our highest floor immediately. Our apart-hotel has had an upgrade this past year. Rooms have been freshly painted and new floors, window shades, and comforters have been installed. Each hallway has also been freshly painted and new carpet has been installed. There has also been increased detailed cleaning and upkeep of our property since our re-opening in June due to COVID-19. It is unfortunate you did not find the opportunity to have a discussion about your other issues since our reception is open 24/7. We would have enjoyed the conversation and ability to rectify any other issues that may have been shared. No air conditioning - not for hot summer

Good location, adequate prices and clean, tough not new rooms, but the absence of air conditioning is very discomforting at summer. Shrill fire alarm sounded for several minutes 2 times during the stay which is very annoying. Sounds from nearby street (honking etc.) after football game were very noisy and I didn't have an option to close window because of hot and absence of AC.

As mentionned on the websites there is no AC in our aparthotel; Unfortunately we cannot control the fire alarm. There is a kitchen in every room and guests sometimes forget to check on their cooking. We apologize on behalf of our guests that activated the alarm. Normally, our area is very quiet by night, it was a "one time" noisy night after the African Soccer Championship" We do hope to see you again within Adagio Kind regards,
