Modern 166 room hotel across the REC Airport.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving by rental car at 1PM and parking in the limited front for 15 minute check in, before returning the car to nearby Unidas. An English speaking receptionist copied our passports, took our payment, presented our key card and we walked down the hall. Room #60 was wood floored, clean and at 188’, spacious for an Ibis with a fully outfitted bathroom and nice tile shower, comfortable queen across nice sized TV (Bloomberg, TeleCine, TNT & Universal in English, Monde in French) with 8 Portuguese channels, closet area with refrigerator below, shelf desk and one chair. Good lighting, AC, wifi, 3 outlets and an insulated window view of a concrete wall noise barrier from the busy street. The 4AM breakfast buffet was excellent and well serviced: juices, fresh fruits, yogurt, muesli, ham, cheese, sliced tomatoes, eggs, hot dishes, breads, cakes, thermos of coffee/hot milk and coffee machine. Walk 650m E tô Supermercado Trevo Boa Viagem. Overall, a quality, well run, quiet and convenient hotel with taxi($5)/Uber($3) to REC Airport.

Pretty decent hotel rooms were a little small, but seemed very clean and hotel staff was very very friendly, especially Andreza who works in the restaurant

Solid transit hotel very close to the airport terminal.

This is a very predictable Ibis that has an excellent location close to the airport. Some of my business colleagues even walked using the pedway. I prefer the local taxi, but call the hotel or ask at the taxi stand for the taxi to the Ibis Aeroporto. They have a special service with the tourist taxi that is free and they are more than happy to drive you across the freeway to the hotel, and the hotel pays them. It is a nice, clean inviting Ibis with very friendly staff. THe little bar has great sancks, and there is a little lounge area. Breakfast is also very good. The rooms are clean and very functional, and in typical Ibis decor. No surprises. 5 stars becuase it is exactly what I expected and it served my needs twice in one week as I was connecting through Recife to and from my destination.

An airport hotel and more

Conveniently located right across the airport, this hotel is most convenient not only for passengers. For those with business arrangements in Greater Recife, the hotel is right on the highway crossing the state North to South! Also, for tourists visiting Recife itself and aware of how to move around in the city, the bus station Aeroporto is one block away! The hotel has an agreement with the blue taxis to take passengers from the airport at free of charge; the return costs now R$ 12, though one can easily walk there. Ibis standards are known and reliable all over the world and this predictability is always in favour of the Ibis chain. Staff is helpful and kind, kudos to Geovana and Valeria. Breakfast is better than in many other hotels in the city, even better than at Mercure Navegantes, an awful hotel in many regards anyway. Some rooms have been remodelled, make sure to ask for one of them at check-in. Isolation is perfect, one hear nothing from the planes or traffic. I'd suggest better recognition of Platinum members, a more complete TV channels' package, a venue for business meetings and better maintenance in some rooms. Usually airport hotels serve only one purpose; this one, due to its strategic location, can welcome guests with multiple purposes.
