Great location Resort showing its age

The Location is Fantastic Resort needs major overhaul. On arrival our room was not stocked with enough cutlery or crockery for us to both have a cup of tea, no hard copy of in house menu only on line which was difficult to connect to. Cupboard doors would not close properly or couldn’t open properly. Got to give it to maintenance staff they were prompt and polite. After several phone calls we finally received the menu. Buffet breakfast was Fantastic most of the staff were great. Given the state of the resort it is definitely Overpriced. There were a few other issues that annoyed us like not being able to park near the accommodation yes they offer a buggy service but not much use in the middle of the night. Would we stay again or recommend the resort? Definitely Not. Regards Stephen

We booked Pullman Bunker Bay for our wedding anniversary, the property was set in a beautiful landscape of bunker bay and with direct access to the beach, checking in was a great experience by Luke at reception and we were welcomed with a glass of sparkling, during the stay the food and beverage offering was easy to access and the food quality was very good, checking out was a breeze with Kelly. It was great to see the properties commitment to eco-friendly practices without compromising comfort.

Lack of customer service Re room functionality

So looking forward to our stay at Bunker Bay however was disappointed because on arrival at our room the TV'S were not working. Apparently a cable fault was to blame however there was no effort to relocate us to another room so the attitude was to just suck it up which is not great customer service. Our package included two complimentary drinks and a meal at the restaurant. The menu we were offered was tailored for Luxury Escapes people and additional costs applied for some items. The wine we were offered was not on the beverage list and once again it was for Luxury Escapes people.

Very relaxing stay. Quiet room with comfortable bed. Lovely big bath. Little garden out back of room to sit and read and listen to birds. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Very good service. Easy driving to close by wineries and breweries for lunch

Always great regardless of the season

We have stayed at the Pullman Bunker Bay Resort on several occasions and experienced all seasons. This time we enjoyed an upgrade that was above and beyond, just wonderful. Many of the staff recognise us now and we are welcomed back and treated as if we were special. The resort engenders a relaxed, comfortable and friendly atmosphere, nearly everyone smiles and appears to be enjoying the surroundings. The bar and restaurant areas are superbly situated and at this time of the year, whales can be seen from the veranda and from the dining room as they surface and some breach in the bay. The beach is splendid and provides the opportunity to take a relaxed walk and enjoy the clear air and water. I use the gym and we both use the Vie Spa, nice facilities to have on site. Special thanks to Davide, who welcomed us like old friends, Rosario who has been there for a number of our stays now, Juan who was there at our last visit. New to us were Johnny, Jope and Uxia, all of whom provided excellent friendly service and to Joji who put up with my humour and responded appropriately. Sam always recognises us and warmly welcomes us back. Probably missed someone out, sorry.
