We recently stayed 2 nights, we were lucky and got upgraded to a 1 Bedroom Lake view room which was very nice! The villa was very comfortable although its at the bottom of the resort and close to the ocean we had to tackle the walk up the hill to the restaurant a few times, it helped that the weather was nice! Carts are available and the drivers are very helpful and friendly but they do get very busy. Enjoyed dinner on 1 night and the breakfast on both mornings was excellent, plenty to choose from and great coffee. I will say a big thank you to all the staff from the front desk to the restaurant/breakfast staff, we were well looked after by all.

Lovely resort to explore a beautiful part of WA

Pullman Bunker Bay resort is a lovely place to relax and get back to nature. Close to Bunker Bay beach. Whilst it’s been a winter trip, the resort is still lovely to visit. Rooms have held up well over the years. The only downside is the bed which has been uncomfortably hard. Breakfast was included as a full buffet. Standard of food and service has been very good. The only downside is the buffet runs out of items so on some days you can miss out. Would love to a wider range of fresh fruit on offer. We have beautiful fresh produce in WA but not being promoted here. Also found a couple other areas that reflect the resort is cutting back. No slippers in the room apparently due to wanting to be more sustainable. Also I asked for an umbrella on a rainy morning and was told I would need to pay a $25 bond! Overall a pleasant stay, however a little less special than previous visits.

Very luxury!

This place is luxury! First of all, the rooms are so spacious, and the bathrooms are about triple the size of an average home. Second of all, the breakfast buffet has everything from small pastries to eggs and waffles. It also has a juicing machine which you can use to make your own juice! They have a state-of-the-art gym, pool and excellent tennis court. Definitely go during the summer, as the beach is down at the bottom of the resort, sitting there waiting.

Would definitively stay here again

Decided to stay for a few days here and use the hotel as a base for exploring the area including Margaret River, Cape Naturaliste, Caves and Wineries. Very friendly greeting, taken to villa on a buggy. Very spacious room and bathroom with every amenity you could need. Everywhere was spotless, bed very comfortable and plenty of tea coffee milk etc. Grounds of property spacious and you were definitely not overlooked. Easy walk down to the lake and the beach - which was virtually deserted. Breakfast was self service with a large choice, everything fresh and being continually topped up and cleaned. couldn't fault it. Even bought some bags of their homemade muesli to take with us. Had dinner in the restaurant one night, quality of food superb and reasonably priced. However possibly would have struggled to eat here every night of our stay as a relatively small choice on the menu which didnt change. We fully recommend a stay here, and would not hesitate to return ourselves.

Poor Customer Service

We have regularly been staying at Bunker Bay over the last 20 years, since it opened. However the customer service from our last stay was absolutely terrible. There were numerous issues with the villa we were in - no internet, very little tv stations, no Foxtel or ability to use Netflix, and it had no working heating. Our stay was in July, being winter in the South West where it gets very cold. We asked for a new villa due to no heating and we were refused. The only offer of assistance was to give us two small electric fans (the type they use in reception under the desk for staff) and this was expected to keep a two bedroom villa with two adults and my two children warm. Our sleep that night was terrible as we were very cold. The next day we asked again if we could get a room change and we were still refused. Many calls back and forth and pleading our case, we finally were given a different villa late in the afternoon of our second day. This villa was better having heating, however there was still no working Foxtel, Netflix etc and the second toilet was blocked. At no time were there any apologies for these issues and we were made to feel like an inconvenience and that we shouldn’t be asking to move rooms. As regular patrons of this particular hotel and of the Accor chain, we are very disappointed in their customer service and how they treat people. We won’t be rushing back to stay there again even though it is a place we have holidayed in for a long time. Be wary of staying at this hotel as it is starting to age and many amenities are not working or are broken and they aren’t being repaired. And their customer service is terrible.
