We were heading back to Melbourne, Australia from Nanjing, China on China Eastern airlines, my little sister had an Australian passport so she could only stay in China for a month, we were kicked from our flight (I have no idea why but we did nothing wrong) and my mum and grandparents started arguing with one of the airport workers to quickly book us a flight because my sister's Visa was due tomorrow but there were no available flights. So, he managed to book us a flight in the morning to Hong Kong in China Eastern and then back to Melbourne in Cathay Pacific, we were then escorted to a Pullman hotel where the airline paid for our room. Firstly, lobby was really clean. everything looked super modern with quality LED lighting and very nice floor plan for the lobby like the designs for the couches etc. The front desk people were really nice and gave us our room keycard, our room had a view of the runway where I could see planes taking-off and landing whilst insane features and furniture like a large flat screen TV built into the wall, the bathroom was really unique which had very tinted glass doors for the toilet and showers. The price which the airline paid for (which I didn't know the price) wasn't that expensive not like how I expected, since we got to the hotel at around 1am, we went to bet straight away, the walls and doors cancelled out all the noises like the planes landing and taking-off and had every essential toiletry, Pullman Hotel, Nanjing, I'm impressed!

Convenient for airport

Got in on late flight. It’s a brisk 7 minute walk from picking your bag up. Efficient reception. Clean rooms and you cannot hear the airplanes. Breakfast was great, and the lobby was spacious. Very convenient for pick up or taxi from the lobby. Would highly recommend.

Great location and decent rooms

I’ve stayed here many times on transit to HK via Jiangsu It’s a great place to stay before a flight because it’s on the airport grounds. Had a lovely room overlooking the runway but it was exceptionally quiet so no air traffic noise at all. Shame we couldn’t go out on the balcony- that would have been great … but laws state no access for safety reasons- so I completely understand the rationale. Food ok in the restaurant but service a little slow. If you want to swim, you need to wear a swimming cap

The hotel is a very short walk from the arrival terminal, and it is large, clean and well-appointed. The buffet in the restaurant was superior. I especially enjoyed the singing robot near the elevators. I went up to it and said, "Hello", and it burst into song! "Only You!" It was so much fun to add this kind of lightheartedness to our stay.
