Our stay at Mercure Okinawa Naha was a fantastic experience, thanks to its unbeatable location and the wonderful service we received. The hotel is conveniently situated right on top of a monorail station, making it incredibly easy to get around. It's just two stops from the airport and only a few more to reach the city center, which added so much convenience to our trip. A notable highlight was the complimentary parking—a rare and much-appreciated perk for a city hotel. It made exploring the area by car stress-free and added great value to our stay. We also want to extend a special thank-you to Ryoko Higa from Reservations. Her outstanding assistance before our arrival made all the difference and ensured our check-in process was smooth and seamless.

loved this hotel! It was right beside the train station. Mark, the receiptionist my first contact in this hotel was super nice and helpful. Our housekeeping staff were super respectful and also detailed in their cleaning. My only complaint is that the water doesn't get as hot as it does in other hotels I've experienced in Japan. Breakfast was good for the price and with the Accor All member's discount it was well worth it. The free lounge and coffee for members was also really nice. I just wish they also provided coffee in the rooms.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in January, 2024. The location of the hotel was excellent. It was super clean and the breakfast was really good. The view from our window was great! The staff was very helpful. We hope that we will come back again.

Certain staff not so friendly and not helpful

Certain staff were not very friendly. Upon arrival at the hotel, it was raining and with a baby in tow, I asked the front desk if they could help shift some luggages from the car into the hotel. The staff said that they do not have a bellman and asked if I was alone. Upon discovering that I was not alone, he mentioned that we could do the shifting ourselves (2 adults - including the 1 driver - with 1 baby). He eventually helped out just a little bit but I thought this was really lousy service - there was absolutely no one else around requiring his assistance at the front desk plus there was another staff there should anyone suddenly need it. Also, it was a short walk from the car and I expected him to just be able to help out. He wasn’t local Japanese. This really gave a very poor first impression. Location is good as you just have to cross a small road to get to the Tsubogawa station (there’s an elevator and then you walk across a sheltered link bridge). Trains towards the airport run as early as 5.47am and it’s just 2 stops away via the Yui Rail. There is a weighing scale provided at the front desk which you can use to weigh your luggage. They also do not help do advanced taxi reservations and can only book a taxi on demand (10-15 mins beforehand). The breakfast at 1800¥ was not worth it. There was little variety. Parking is quite expensive at 1000¥ a night. It utilises this car lift system so it’s not like you can easily go to your car.

Thank you for staying at our hotel. Please understand that our hotel does not have a bellhop, so depending on the time of day we may not be able to assist our guests. Good hotel in affordable price,staff is very supportive,especially 2 people suraj & Abhiyan panday are very helpful as they have helped me alot regarding taxi booking and for vegan restaurants,surely recommend this.
