Good hotel, older building so was pleased to find that our room had a bath! We were offered parking at €16, but didn’t take it up, as we found a free disabled space in a public car park in front of the hotel. Annecy is a most beautiful place, and the hotel was situated just 10 minute walk from river. Breakfast was just ok, nothing special, just basic continental. No vending machine in hotel with extremely limited choice of snacks. No restaurants around the hotel. In quiet area. Air conditioning did not work, so had window open all night, but weren’t disturbed by noise. Would recommend.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Annecy Ibis Styles Gare. As the name suggests it is a comfortable ten minute walk from the train station, or a similar walk alongside the beautiful river to the old town. It’s located in a tree lined square away from any busy roads. The room was simple but very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast included lots of quality local produce and it was possible to have a very tasty, healthy and filling start to the day. Last but by no means least, the staff were very friendly and hard-working doing everything possible for the hotel guests. Tres bien et merci les gens d’Ibis Annecy!

This hotel has both good and not so great traits. I liked the location as there are many walking trails behind the property, and it is far quieter than in the hectic city centre. It is a fabulous walk to the train and bus gare. When you arrive at the station, just go to the right. Don’t deviate. Go through 2 roundabouts and you are there. Very easy 10 minute walk. I disagree with many reviewers about the breakfast. I thought it was very poor. I agree with many reviewers that the ladies on reception were terrific. I have travelled all over France and the quality of English excellence at this property was the best I have found. The room was fine, except for the bathroom lighting. It is way too dim, and for a man shaving this is not helpful. I would stay here again.

A great stay here for 3 nights. Breakfast was lovely and Hayth and the other gentleman continued to replenish the breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels. Every person we met was great - reception, cleaners and Haytham. Would recommend

We had a very nice relaxing stay, four nights, at the ibis Styles Annecy Gare Centre, this was our third time staying there and we would stay there again in the future. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful as were all staff throughout our stay. We used the car park in front of the hotel, it can be a little difficult to find a parking spot but that is off set by the price of the car park. Access to the old town is via a very nice riverside walk. We had a clean well-appointed room with a well-appointed bathroom with excellent shower and good lighting. The bed was very comfortable and the extra pillows were very welcome. We made good use of the safety deposit box which was very easy to use. The breakfast buffet was very tasty, lots of local produce, and the lady and gentleman looking after the breakfast buffet were really on their game, everything was frequently replenished. The fresh bread and pastries were delicious, with plenty of choice. Overall, a great little spot and value for money thoroughly recommended.
