We had a very nice relaxing stay, four nights, at the ibis Styles Annecy Gare Centre, this was our third time staying there and we would stay there again in the future. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful as were all staff throughout our stay. We used the car park in front of the hotel, it can be a little difficult to find a parking spot but that is off set by the price of the car park. Access to the old town is via a very nice riverside walk. We had a clean well-appointed room with a well-appointed bathroom with excellent shower and good lighting. The bed was very comfortable and the extra pillows were very welcome. We made good use of the safety deposit box which was very easy to use. The breakfast buffet was very tasty, lots of local produce, and the lady and gentleman looking after the breakfast buffet were really on their game, everything was frequently replenished. The fresh bread and pastries were delicious, with plenty of choice. Overall, a great little spot and value for money thoroughly recommended.

Conviently located near the central station, the hotel is relatively nice. The area is not the nicest one, but still safe. The room was small and simple, but functional and clean. The staff was nice. The breakfast was good. A nice place for one night in Annecy.

This Ibis Styles is nestled in a residential area, exuding a charm that perhaps peaked a few decades ago. It's conveniently located approximately a 10-minute walk from the train station and a scenic 20-minute stroll along the riverbank to the Old Town tourist area. The hotel features a small lobby area with a few seating options. Complimentary tea, coffee, and water are available at all times in the breakfast area, which is adjacent to the reception. The hotel boasts an alpine theme with striking large-scale photography on the walls. The welcome was friendly and efficient, with the option to decline daily room cleaning in favor of a donation to charity. The room itself was quite small, even by French city standards. The bed occupied the central position, leaving limited walking space around it. There was a chair and a table for one person, along with an adequately sized wall-mounted TV. The bathroom was practical but minimalist. The room featured a large balcony, approximately 5 meters in length, with some seating available. However, the balcony furniture was not usable due to a buildup of grime from the winter. The doors leading to the balcony lacked curtains or netting, offering only shutters, which meant having to keep the shutters down for privacy, resulting in no natural light and the need for artificial lighting. The WiFi speee was fast and reliable reaching 60mbs The breakfast was sufficient, offering pastries, bread, cereals, and boiled eggs—practical but not overly exciting. Overall, this hotel is an economical option in Annecy that exemplifies the adage, "you get what you pay for.
