Good value and excellent location close to the gare in Bayonne. If you're in search of the old town - just cross the bridge and you're there. Staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast excellent. Yes, the rooms are small, but this is a 3-star. Bed was comfy enough

We stayed here during our visit to delighful Bayonne. It is located a five minute walk from the train station and the bus stop for the Biarritz airport. It takes about 10 minutes to walk into the center of town. Our room had a beautiful vieew of the river and the old town. The room was small and should have had a chair. As it was we used the bed to sit! The bed was very comfortable. There was no outside or hall noise. We were asked not to drink coffee or eat in the room. The hotel does offer 24 coffee and tea in the breakfast room. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice of items in the buffet. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable of the area. It could use some renovation to update the lighting and paint. The elevatgor is typical European - small but efficient. We would stay here again if we revisit Bayonne.

Nice Hotel, stay on opposite side from main road. If possible.

A good hotel, 5 minute walk from the train station, and 5 minutes from the centre of Bayonne that has the facility to store your bag before check-in at 1200. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the small lift is very welcome, especially if you're on the 5th floor. The room is spacious and very clean, with a good shower. The only downside, which is why this is a 4 star review instead of 5 (and its probably out of the hotels hands), on the road leading on to the bridge, there is currently (Jan 25) a loose drain cover which makes a tremendous bang when it gets driven over. Even with the window shut, you can hear it loudly. I can only suggest that you try and get a room facing away, either a river view, or on the opposite side to the entrance. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay and we will stay again, albeit on the other side of the hotel hopefully.

Great hotel at an excellent location with a beautiful view on the Pont Saint-Esprit. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff was very friendly, we had a nice room with a beautiful view, decorated by colorful elements inspired by Basque culture. The bathroom was a bit small, but clean and with a good shower. The bed was very good. I loved the fact that the hotel provided extra cushions. I slept very well. The breakfast was very good. The charcuterie, cheeses, yoghurts en fruit juices were kept cool in a fridge and there were lots of different options to choose from. I adored the banana bread and the bread with feta cheese, olives and tomatoes. The hotel is very conveniently located just outside the historical heart of Bayonne. All the mayor tourist points are at walking distance.

Fantastic value for money. Great location, reasonable tariff, very accommodating and friendly staff, fine old building. Decent breakfast. Nice room , albeit small, comfortable bed and bed linen was good quality. Nothing negative to say at all.
