Do yourself a favour. If you are heading to Maggie this is the place to stay. Right next to the ferry terminal and bus stop. So convenient to everything you need - ocean front, modern apartments with great amenities. Richelle was incredible and so accomodating with a date change. When we arrived earlier than check in to drop our bags before exploring the island Richelle called ahead to cleaners and got us into our room early. So appreciated. The room was lovely. Great view, so clean and modern. The location is awesome - 2 mins to the ferry and bus so no lugging luggage for miles. The $1 all day hop on, hop off bus tickets were great to get around. Also used the taxi service a couple of times. So quick, and friendly. If you are reasonably fit, can recommend the fort walk (2hrs). We saw 5 koalas close to the trail, and the views are spectacular. Take plenty of water and best to do it in the morning before it gets too hot. Would totally recommend staying at the Mercure.

We had a great time with the family. The location is super convenient being right next to the ferry. The 3 bedroom apartment was spacious and well presented and the kitchen was large enough and was well equipped. The kids loved the inifinty pool and loved seeing the wallabies right outside our balcony.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities are great, rooms are spacious and clean and there's four pools to pick from. Their customer service is excellent, I would like to make special mention of staff member Clare who is definitely an asset to the team at the Grand Mercure Apartments, Magnetic Island.

Spacious apartments with kitchen and a very nice view. Richelle and her team really did go the extra mile with an issue that we had (forgot our passport, credit cards and cash in the room, she noticed and moved heaven and earth to get it sent to Brisbane in time for our next international flight) and we can‘t thank her enough. All in all a nice accomodation that needs a little care and love here and there, but Richelle assured that a fresh management was tackling this

The rooms were all modern, clean and well equipped. We also found all the staff very pleasant and helpful. The hotel has 4 pools, 2 infinity pools facing the sea in front of buildings 4 and 5 and a heated pool in building 2. Building 1 where we were staying has a rooftop pool, it can be a bit cool but gets a good amount of sunshine, the others can be in the shade for good parts of the day. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it when staying on the island.
