Disappointing Stay: Great Location but Subpar Service

Quiet, Convenient Location , The neighbourhood is peaceful, yet just steps away from a well-stocked supermarket and a handful of cozy cafés. The metro station is only about a 10-minute walk, making it easy to reach central Paris within 20 . 1. **Reception & Communication** * Helpful Staff (Seydina): While most receptionists seemed indifferent, Seydina went above and beyond in answering questions, arranging my late check-in, and guiding me to nearby amenities. His friendly, English-speaking approach was a genuine bright spot. * There is no in-room phone to call reception, which made requesting assistance inconvenient. * No dedicated safe or secure storage is available even at the reception desk—there’s nowhere to lock up passports or valuables. 2. **Room Quality & Maintenance** * **Sewage Odor**: My assigned room on the sixth floor reeked of sewage. After reporting it multiple times, I was moved to the seventh floor, where the smell was thankfully gone but not properly explained or apologized for. * **Worn Furniture & Fixtures**: The sofa bed creaks and feels like it could collapse at any moment. Cupboards and drawers are chipped, and bathroom fixtures are clearly outdated. * **Lighting & Water Pressure**: The bathroom had poor lighting, making simple tasks like shaving difficult. Water pressure was weak—showers felt more like trickles. 3. **Housekeeping & Cleanliness** * Cleaning occurs just once per week, regardless of the length of stay. I requested that staff simply remove the trash from my room mid-week, and was told that tidying is “my own responsibility.” * The housekeeping team is not at all friendly, and none of them speak English. While the room wasn’t dirty, they do the bare minimum—nothing more. 4. **Value for Money** * Given how basic and worn the facilities are, you can expect to pay more than you get. Even if you book a low-rate package, know you’re paying a premium for what amounts to a very budget-level aparthotel.

Cold bathroom, old things, dirty beds.

very grey hotel( there is cold in bathroom. dirty beds, dirty kitchens. we have been in other Adagio Apartment in Nation Paris it was very very super hotel-apartment. But this one is not. I dont want to stay anymore here. i prefer more clean apartment

I regularly stay at the Aparthotel Adagio in Maisons Alfort because it is on line Metro 8, with easy access to many areas and key sights in Paris. The staff are really excellent - professional, friendly, organized and just wonderful overall! The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. There is no noise from the street so you can always sleep soundly and the wifi works very well. I'm always pleased with this hotel and recommend it for excellent value/quality ratio. They also take good measures to make sure they reduce waste and save energy (while keeping guests comfortable), which is important to me.

We recently stayed here for our trip to Paris. The pictures on the website are completely different to how the hotel actually is in person. The walls was all dirty, the bathroom had mould over the ceiling, the carpet was no longer a carpet with burns and stains on and was filthy. We also had ants crawling over our table for the “self-catering” it was not the best. All I can give is that the bed was comfy but we both got bit by something we are not sure by what but we got bit on our back, face, arms and hands. The hotel is great for the local metro station and a local supermarket.

Regarding the pictures of the website, our aparthotel has four different kinds of studios. Some are refurbished, studio comfort, and the others are not, standard studios. Each category of studio is illustrated with according pictures. We are sorry if the studio you have selected did not match with the one you wanted to book. For what concerns the bugs, we do take the issue very seriously. It is a problem that rarely occurs and is beyond our control. Whenever this situation occures, do not hesitate to let us know immediately so that we can ask the technical team to deal with the situation without delay, and the reception team will take care of you for a new studio.
