The hotel is pretty run down in general. The bathrooms are very small and the shower tiny. The hotel and rooms is supposed to non-smoking but people (and staff) smoked everywhere - not just outside. The hotel charged another 25% to the price upon arrival. So much for being able to trust the price on Booking.com. Front desk staff was friendly, though.

AVOID: Read on if you want to know why. The name "Aparthotel" is highly deceptive. This is not a hotel in anyway. It's just a poorly maintained and badly service apartment block. What was wrong? - Parking access is impossible. We arrived after the "reception" had closed (what "hotel" closes it's reception), so there was no way to enter the locked car park. Managed to get in with help from other residents. - Access to reception from car park is through a dark and smelly underground car park, but even that route was locked later in the evening, so had to exit to the street, walk right round the building and in from the from the front. (after walking across muddy grass) - Apartment floor was gritty and not swept. - Light in main room did not work and had some dodgy wiring hanging from ceiling. - Condition of bathroom was poor, dirty/rusty radiator, tatty cupboards, towels that could barely soak up water. - Sheets on beds too small and wont tuck under. Ordinarily I would not make this kind of review here, but would make my comments to he "hotel" directly. But that's the issue, you cant, there is no one around to comment to. On the good side it is cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Regarding the parking, it is payable at the rate of 4 €/day and must be reserved before your arrival : you did not reserve which explains why you did not have a code to enter the parking lot and in the basement of the aparthotel. Your apartment has been checked by our staff before your arrival, the condition of the floor remains your assessment. It was a lovely stay, the rooms were very suitable for us. The tram to the city center is just outside the hotel, excellent location. The only negative point was when we needed an iron, there was no one at reception - it was actually closed. I would recommend this hotel, the staff were also very pleasant.

This hotel is fabulous, I was not expecting such a quality of room . I love the team and the spirit of the hotel. The breakfast is very tasteful and light . I’m looking forward to coming back again . Best regards.

The apartments are well located next to the tram line A and E which meant we could explore Strasbourg centre without the car. All the staff members did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The actual apartment was clean, the beds comfortable and the noise levels generally acceptable. However the kitchen utensils were less than adequate / practical. The biggest issue we had was other clients smoking in their apartments or near fresh air inlets which resulted in smoke in our apartment. Staff acted to address this matter. Also there was less than 24x7 service on the front desk which concerned us
