De nombreux atouts, quelques lacunes

Situation environ 7 km de Glouceister, idéal pour découvrir les Cotswolds. Il est dans un très grand parc avec pelouses, de beaux arbres et une belle vue sur les collines. Vaste parking gratuit. L'hôtel avec un corps ancien, et des ajouts, à belle allure. Il est impeccable, peint dans des dégradés de gris, avec des couleurs pastel pour les sièges des salons et restaurant. Nous avions une vaste chambre au 4ème niveau et là nous avons été un peu déçus : 4 niveaux sans ascenseur (ce n'est pas mentionné sur le site de réservation d'Accor), pas de climatisation et pas de mini-refrigérateur. Dommage, ce n'était pas ce à quoi je m'attendais d'un 4* Accor. Bon petit-déjeuner, personnel très agréable.

Mooi hotel. Super aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Ik geloof niet dat we ooit zullen vriendelijk oprecht geïnteresseerd personeel hebben meegemaakt. Alle kleine onvolkomenheden vallen hierdoor in het niet. Mooie ruime kamer en een prima badkamer. Ruime parkeergelegenheid voor de deur. Het eten in het restaurant is lekker. Zowel het diner als het ontbijtbuffet waren fantastisch. Geen lift wat gesleep met koffers de trap op geeft. Lage waterdruk in de douche. Geen stopcontact naast het bed.

Voor 4 nachten ons verblijf in de Cotswolds. Uiterst mooie ligging in landelijk gebied. Ruime kamer, bad met douche, goed bed (1.60 m), dubbele kussens. Uitnodigende ontbijtruimte en dito lounge. Frisse hedendaagse look. Prima ontbijt, alles naar wens. Vriendelijke ( jong) personeel in de bediening. Ook een pluim voor de keuken, zonder uitzondering 4 maal heerlijk gedineerd. Zeer zeker een aanrader.

Buen hotel, un tanto anticuado

En pleno bosque, rodeado de un bello parque, este Mercure con aires de mansión de campo inglesa es un hotel muy a tener en cuenta. Cierto que está lejos, apartado de Gloucester. Cierto que necesita reformas, que está descuidado, que las habitaciones son antiguas, que no hay ascensor y si muchas escaleras. Pero el personal es amable, el entorno precioso, dispone de mucho aparcamiento exterior y vistas al bosque. El desayuno fue un poco justo, depende del dia, mejora o empeora el buffet. Las habitaciones estan límpias, pero no así las ventanas exteriores, algo vetustas, con algun vidrio roto y telarañas. En general, no ostante, la relación calidad precio fue excelente. La cena en el restaurante del hotel es muy cuidada, aunque no es barata, nos satisfizo. Lo recomendaria.
