The hotel was great for our needs. The 5 th floor room was small, but had everything we needed.. I used the smallest lift in the world to reach the room initially, but the stairs were preferable... Quite a challenge if you weren't reasonably fit. The lift has a weight limit also, so be warned. Breakfast was OK. The staff are excellent. Special mention to Nicolas for recommending a lovely restaurant not far from hotel and also to Nadine for being extremely helpful throughout our stay and afterwards, as we left something at the hotel. It's in a great location if you want to stay in the walled town. You can park nearby and walk to everything from there

This is an excellent hotel in the heart of the historic district. It is about a 5 minute walk to the conference center and close to shops and restaurants. It is close enough to train station to walk but we took a taxi due to luggage. The staff are super nice and helpful and speak English thank goodness. The breakfast was included and delicious. The room was small but it is an old charming building. The shower is small which took some creativity to maneuver. The elevator is also small so at first we just used it as a dumb waiter to send up our luggage but once we decided to brave the coffin sized space it actually wasn’t too bad! At the very end we both got in the elevator together and it was ok. We did splurge for the best room with a view and it was nice to open the windows and hear the sea gulls. Overall I would recommend this hotel and advise packing light because there is a nice laundry mat about a block away. There is also a small grocery store nearby and everything you need close by.

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location, within the walled city and very good value. The breakfast is plentiful and of excellent quality. First-class staff - in particular Nicholas, for whom nothing was too much trouble - very attentive.

We have stayed here several times, firstly the staff are brilliant, helpful and jolly. The hotel is an Ibis Styles, not the Ritz and is exceptional value for money. It is immaculate, modern interior very comfortable and the breakfast is very good. There is seating outside in the summer and you can get drinks. It’s location is near the main gate which is great for all the restaurants and bars.

Nicolas what an amazing ambassador you are for the Ibis brand, great Customer service and help from the beginning of our stay Rooms are spacious and comfortable, my only slight grumble is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, I hope on the next fitout this can be added, apart from that I’m very happy, thank you 🙏
