Very well positioned hotel. The location is within walking distance of the central shopping and eating areas. It is a 5 minute walk from the railway station. You can easily walk down to the river and walk over the bridge to museums. The shops in the immediate area are not the best, but the small supermarket almost next door is very convenient. I stayed mainly because of the vicinity to the Opera, which is about 10 minutes away. The breakfast was THE BEST. It would be worth staying again for this reason alone. The choice was amazing. The room was very well appointed, clean, comfortable and very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Central location and a comfortable stay

Room for family is spacious enough. Near to hbf. Bar/restaurant was closed when we were there. Tegut supermarket just right beside. Very walkable city with hotel at a central location

Decent Stay, Needs Some Updates

The hotel is conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore. However, the rooms felt a bit dated and could use some refreshing. Service was decent, but not exceptional. Overall, a satisfactory stay but nothing to rave about.

Apart from the excellent location nothing at Mercure that i can recommend unfortunately.

Rooms smelled stuffy. We were checked in with a dirty toilet with yellow stains on the seat. I went down to inform them and the girl at the reception first said she can’t do anything as housekeeping had already left and it was 14:30. Then a gentleman came up to check and he confirmed it was bad. We were shifted to another room on the same floor. Just an apology from the gentleman no commercial gesture… my son left back a plastic back with his MAC charger, I Phone charger and electric shaver. When we contacted the hotel they said they only found the IPhone charger….

Absolutely loved my stay! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the main attractions. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, with great amenities. Highly recommend!
