The hotel is located in an utterly calm region outside the old city of Venice and is easily accessible from Mestre train station. You could approach the beautiful, stunning city of Venice via bus number 6, and the bus station is just 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. It takes only 15 minutes to reach Piazzale Roma, the main terminal of Venice. The staff at the reception is kind and helpful. The hotel is overall clean. Rooms were cozy and silent. We reserved accommodation with a half board meal. The dinner was superb and delicious. But the best score goes to the kind, polite, and friendly staff at the restaurant. This hotel is higher recommendable.

Rooms were clean, staff very happy to help. My one concern was the rock hard bed, but I need to say that I slept so well. Great location if you’re visiting Venice! It is a short drive / taxi from the railway station where you can get the 10 minute train to Venice.

We found this to be an excellent hotel. Service, food, room space, bed, bathroom all perfect. Much cheaper than staying in Venice. We had a road facing room but the excellent soundproofing meant we heard nothing. The number 6 bus is a few minutes walk and takes you to the bus station in Venice in 20 mins. There is a patisserie on the way to the bus stop and a pizza place, though we didn’t eat at either. The bus is very cramped at rush hour times. We went towards the end of September and the weather was very variable, coats and rainwear were needed at the start of our 3 days and shorts and t shirts on the final day, a range of 10 degrees! We purchased a 3 day transport pass for buses and water buses which was excellent value at €45 each. We bought this from the tourist information desk at the bus station in Venice. Weekdays the water bus queues are fine, weekends they double. Weekends are super busy with tourists, we were glad we went in the week. Burano is well worth visiting, Murano, not much there other than shops selling murano glass. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. Oh and do watch for pickpockets, my husband had his wallet stolen whilst getting on the bus back from Venice, it was definitely an organised gang.

Excellent visit! Rooms were large, clean and modern. The bed was huge and quite firm. Bottled water was also provided for free in the room. Only a 20-30 minute bus journey into Venice, we bought a bus pass which also gave us access to the water busses. The hotel is also near supermarkets and a lovely patisserie! Would definitely stay again!

Excellent hotel with free on site parking for my three days visiting Venice. Nice large room. As usual with Mercure, lovely bed and bedding. Breakfast and hotel amenities excellent. Easy walk to no 6 bus to bus terminal and then water bus to St Marks Square
