Hotel has a good location. Located near a metro station, which is connected to lines 1, 3 and 4, and a railway station for the bullet train. Room is sufficiently large and the breakfast offers more than enough choice. Executive lounge is also nice, but unfortunately there was little selection of drinks. There wasn't even Tsingtao beer, but there was downstairs in the bar.

We had a great stay at Pullman Shanghai Jing’an. The hotel is well located, with easy access to the metro system and just a short walk to Shanghai Railway Station, making it super convenient for getting around the city and beyond. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection and attentive service. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, and we especially appreciated that Accor ALL loyalty was fully recognised, a refreshing experience compared to other properties in China. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although we didn’t use the gym or pool, it was nice to know those facilities were available. The executive lounge, while not extensive, was very good, offering a quiet space to relax with decent refreshments. Overall, this is a solid choice in Shanghai, combining comfort, service, and convenience with proper recognition of loyalty status. We’d happily stay again.

Stayed here for a long weekend over new year! First travel tip!!! Don’t go to shanghai for new year! They don’t do anything. 300,000 people on the Bund and midnight came and went without fanfare. Hotel was in a difficult location. Although having the metro next door is handy but you have to get it everywhere. We checked out early in the end and found another hotel nearer. Rooms are so very small but bathrooms are ample size! No iron or hair dryer which is annoying. Also nowhere to put your case! I had mine in front of the bathroom door. It was ok. Could serve a purpose but not for the leisure traveller.

Room was stuffy and warm as the air conditioning system is not working. After checks with the staff, was told that they are drawing the outside air into the room instead due to the cold weather. But on the day when we checked in, the weather in Shanghai was actually turning warm with average of 27 degree celsius. My room had free breakfast entitlement due to Platinum Membership Status but every morning when I went to the restaurant, I was told that I do not have free breakfast for my room. After checks and verification, the staff finally realize their mistake and allow me in to take the breakfast. This happens every morning and I have to go thru the checks and verification again before I was allowed into the restaurant. On the last day, it happens again and in the end they make me sign the bill for the breakfast. During check-out, the front counter had to waive off the charges after checking thru my account and realize I am entitled to free breakfast entitlement. Too much commotions to start the day everyday!

Quick check in. Fiery friendly personnel. I forgot my bag at the taxi and at the reception in Miss Felicia go through all details and help me to find it!!! So happy!! Ps: breakfast is amazing, lot of western options and good coffee. I will def come back
