Could not think of a better place to start as to the location, comfort, price or service. This was an elegant/private hotel, in the middle of everything. t is within walking distance to central Strasbourg, its sites, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of the town. Gorgeous hotel grounds. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was ready upon our arrival. Large room with a huge bathroom and closet space. Very comfortable bed. Would absolutely stay there again.

We loved our two stays here. The hotel is well situated on the edge of the downtown area and has restaurants close by. This historic building has much character and architecture to marvel at. One night we stayed in Room 1 (an upgrade) which was spacious and beautifully appointed The staff were all very helpful. At one point they took some clothes I had washed and was trying to dry (unsuccessfully) and they dried and ironed them, at no cost.

Lovely Strasbourg historic hotel in a perfect location

We spent 3 nights at this hotel in a very comfortable room with beamed ceilings. It is one of the oldest buildings in Strasbourg- very nicely refurbished and updated. The breakfast is excellent. The staff are super helpful. We especially liked the location- right across a bridge from the Cathedral and the dock for taking one of the boat canal tours which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also took the little train. Had delicious meals at restaurants recommended by the hotel. Our favorite was Maison des Tanneurs in the Petite France area which is truly charming but all of the old part of Strasbourg is very special. Highly recommend Strasbourg and

Amazing hotel, and even better staff!

This was a charming hotel, right in the center of the old town. But even better than the place itself was the incredible staff. Nathan, Alexandra, Julien, Loubna and Charlotte staffed the front desk, and were tireless in making dinner reservations, and steering us to the best places in town. Sebastien and Guillaume towed our enormous bags to our room without even a whimper. The sumptuous buffet breakfast was always immaculate and fresh, thanks to Karine, Mathieu, Mathilde and Dragica. And barman Johnathan sent out delicious wines for us to enjoy in the beautiful courtyard. We have been fortunate enough to travel to many wonderful places all over the world. I can truly say that we have never enjoyed better service anywhere.
