Very tired ghostly hotel. It’s a maze internally to find anything, the pool is tiny. The photos have been stretched with a wide angle lens to make it appear like a big health club. On an outer ring road. No scenic runs/walks. Basic breakfasts that finish by 09:30! No atmosphere or brand. Very brown and beaten. Clean, but smells of soap everywhere. Rooms smell tired and dusty and bed throw cushion never been laundered. Mattress springs felt. Staff not interested in helping and seem half asleep apart from the chambermaids. Do not recommend and our department won’t book again.

We had stayed for my husbands birthday weekend, lovely place it seemed, two lots of holding deposit taken from us by manager by mistake, £100. Took 7 days to return.. we also had £10 taken from us in the restaurant incorrectly yet still waiting for accounts to confirm we can have this back. We checked out 8 days ago and are still waiting, but when I was told a refund of money will be issued to us for partial break due to issues there, they took an extra £50 from us in the mean time. So much money taken out of my account by mistake ! 8 days past check out and more money is still being take out despite having been sent a clear invoice no charges !!! No complaints procedure either

I took my partner here for Valentine’s Day overnight stay with Spa booking and Dinner. Outstanding service from all and great food. The room was beautiful, we must have been upgraded which was kind because of the package we were on. Highly recommend. The value for money was great too.

The room was so well presented, the food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Would highly recommend. The breakfast was amazing and the spa facilities are also great, I stayed in the prestige rooms they have coffee machines which was a bonus aswell and rooms are very spacious.

It is not a bad hotel, the receptionist was nice, friendly and explained mostly everything and the spa and gym was very nice, and also the breakfast buffet was lovely (except the coffee machine, I am sorry to say it but it was disgusting, the milk was mixed with water) apart of that the food was lovely. But I think it is a 4 stars just because the spa and gym, without that is it simple 3 stars hotel. For the room, I was expecting a little bit more, like the TV was old and not really working, like the sound came out, but black screen. We had extra towers for shower, which is good, and also for the spa, but, we asked for slippers for the spa (because someone of my family forgot bring theirs) and the “spa” guy said that it is only for the members, which I understand, but …I don’t really understand…? It would have been better to tell us that they didn’t have them, or charge us a pound or something, maybe? I don’t know. Also we asked for the bathrobe, so we don’t have to walk half naked, and they told us to ask the reception because they should have, but they didn’t have, which is ok, it is just they looked at us like we should know everything, or that is how I felt. It is just a few silly complain, it won’t change anything, but I highly recommend some communication with the spa workers and the hotel reception, and explain to the customers how it works as soon they check-in so they don’t have to walk between the spa and reception. For the price we payed, I am not sure I will come back. But it is a good hotel.
