At the ibis airport Burdeux The receptionist working 2 of January at 21.00pm. That she said that her name is Yanira.( that's what she said) we booked a room for my wife, my dog and 2 children after drive 10 hours. She told me that i have to pay for another extra room for the kids, and leave them on separate room. one of them 11 year old and the other one just 5 what sleep on the same bed than me and the otherone on the extra bed. How you gone leave 2 kids of 11 and 5 in a separate room? Where are you coming from? . We never had an issue before booking the rooms on that way, and we trvel a lot using always ibis and always was a good experience. She refused to do the checking making us try to find another ibis. When we arrived to the other ibis the receptionist told us that the policy of the company let us stay in the same room with the kids until 12 year old . Yamira if that's her real name it's rude has very bad manners and start to speak in French with another French costumers about us....what an unprofessional receptionist. Please give her an induction of the politics of the company and costumer service or change that for someone with the proper experience to deal with a family, tomorrow we got another 8hours travel. We just were needed to eat something and rest.

Dear Sir, After review, your reservation was for a room limited to a maximum of three guests, whereas your party consisted of two adults, two children, and a pet. This occupancy did not comply with the room’s maximum capacity. In accordance with safety regulations and hotel standards, our receptionist therefore предложed a second room, so that each parent could stay with one child. At no time was it suggested that minor children be left alone in a room. While we understand the fatigue associated with long travel, we must also state that threats or abusive language toward our staff cannot be tolerated. Our team member reported having been subjected to inappropriate remarks, which we take very seriously. Ibis policy allows children under the age of 12 to stay with their parents within the limits of the room’s maximum capacity, a condition that was not met in this case. We therefore consider that the decision taken by the hotel was fully in line with our procedures and safety requirements. Sincerely, Sébastien, General Manager

Exactly what you need for a night at the airport, going in or out of Bordeaux. Rooms are simple but functional and clean. The beds are fairly comfy. It's not too noisy either, even when staying close to the elevator as we did. Breakfast is also simple, but it has what You can ask for and more at this price point. If You're on a redeye flight, You'll be glad to see that breakfast starts at 4.30 a.m.!. Very friendly staff that seem to be on station all hours.

Unfortunately we had a terrible stay at this hotel, We had several issues, the water wouldn’t drain in the shower, the pillows were so flat they were pointless and the main issue was that the lights kept switching themselves on in the middle of the night, this happened at least 5 times and (as we had an early flight in the morning) was extremely frustrating. We realise that this is a budget hotel but I would at least expect to be able to get a decent nights sleep and shower.

Very basic indeed. The worst night’s sleep ever as mattress was beyond hard. It was like trying to sleep on a rock. Next morning, I asked one of the staff for some water as we weren’t going to eat breakfast at 5.00 am ( we had early flight back to Gatwick) and she refused to get me a simple cup of water!! Unbelievable and dreadful service plus extremely uncomfortable. Won’t be going there again.

Pretty basic. Clean but small rooms, very open plan and with single bunkbed above a double is a little strange. No restaurant, so at best a place to crash if you want to be close to airport and budget if 90 euros is cheap! They do at a price provide a budget breakfast and the hotel is walkable from airport.
