Every year since 2021 I have stayed at this hotel, and every single year it exceeds my expectations. I always return to this property because of the exceptional customer service, the luxurious room and the incredible location. I spent 10 nights here this December, and I had such a wonderful experience - probably my favourite time since the first time I stayed here. There are no words to describe how kind, compassionate and caring the staff are. They go above and beyond for you, and really do treat you like family. Sofitel Downtown has become a home away from home for me. I would like to extend my thanks to Si Thu (duty manager) for being so empathetic and taking swift action to resolve a small issue. He is a great leader. All of the concierge staff are so friendly and welcoming - Mostafa and Steven did a lot for me during my stay, with Steven helping me retrieve a lost item at a different property which I was so grateful for. The front desk staff, both daytime and night time were so lovely too. Faheem at the pool bar consistently provides friendly and warm service. I cannot recommend this property enough. All of the staff working here are an asset to the Accor brand. Thank you so much for making my stay so enjoyable!!!! PS the breakfast here is AMAZING and the chefs are so lovely - if an item wasn't available, they would make it fresh for me. From Ms Akhtar!

The hotel is in a perfect location and the staff is so kind and professional and helpful, we requested for a late check out and they provided us instantly, the housekeeping staff sunil and indra was so professional and kind and kept asking if we need any additional help in the room also everyday they make something thoughtful to the room . Highly recommend staying at the hotel

Amazing location to explore Dubai easily. Beautiful, big room with large windows and great soundproofing considering proximity to main road. Room was so well looked after by Sunil who went the extra mile to ensure it was perfectly clean and tidy. He even showed me how to use the facilities we couldn't work out! Beautiful food in restaurants and extremely pleasant and helpful staff throughout. Nothing is too much trouble and they give a personal touch despite being a large hotel.

Had very excellent service from William the concierge. He was very helpful with helping me to check in on my flight and was very patient with me. I very much appreciate having such friendly and helpful service when I’m here at the hotel!
