Mercure Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu hotel bintang 4

Perfect location if you arrive to Lyon by train. Room is OK, surprisingly quiet although being next to the train station. Bed is comfortable. Nice breakfast. No welcome amenities for Accor Diamond member but it is the norm for Accor hotels in France.

We had a layover while waiting on a train connection. It was lunch time and we did not want to eat in the station. The Mercure provided a lunch above expectations. The service was excellent, really fine. The food and wine were as well. The entire experience for us was well above what could be expected from a restaurant in a trainstation. We have eaten and stayed in Mercure facilities around the world and have always found them to meet or exceed expectations. So too the restaurant at the Mercure Part-Dieu.

It's a hotel connected to the lyon part Dieu Station but and yet its so spacious and quiet that you will not hear the busy trains arriving nor departing everyday. The hotel is a short 8 to 10 min walk to the nearest shopping mall whereby you can show and eat at numerous outlets. Old Town is 30 to 45 min walk but definitely walkable as I did it. Very comfortable stay for its price

For a business lunch. Rather interesting lounge bar and restaurant. Service okay, fairly responsive and well thought out dishes, friendly staff. It's the second time I've been to this place for lunch and I'm always satisfied, see you soon.

The hotel was super close to the trainstation and in walkable distance for downtown. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We arrived at night because of a flight delay. The beds were soft and comfy - not too soft, just perfect. When we checked out the staff ask if we would like to store our luggage but we were on our way to there airport. A nice touch.
