With an early departure, I chose to stay overnight at Novotel Orly. The location is practical - just over five minutes’ walk to Terminal 4, and around fifteen from the Orly Airport metro station. Check-in was indifferent, with no acknowledgement of Accor All Gold status. Despite clearly available rooms on the Accor app, no upgrade was offered. The room itself was compact, furnished with a double bed, small couch, and a modest shower room. Dining options are limited - particularly for those with dietary requirements - with the only restaurant open for just a few hours from 7:30pm. Vegetarian choices were minimal. The main issue, however, was sleep quality. Though the outside temperature wasn’t particularly high (22°C at peak), the room remained uncomfortably warm overnight - even with the AC set to its lowest. The foam mattress offered little support, and the ridges beneath the thin sheets were distinctly noticeable. Checkout was brief, with no inquiry about the stay.

The room was far, far too hot which made sleeping difficult. Windows are locked so no possibility of getting fresh air. Air system is very noisy and doesn't seem to provide any cool air, despite using the lowest temperature & highest fan setting. The sink is within the bedroom and does not appear to have a plug (potentially wasting water whilst shaving for example). Rude, slow & unhelpful staff Unable or unwilling to print an invoice at departure. The promised email with the invoice did not arrive requiring some time wasted on the telephone. The hotel did not answer so more time spent speaking to the central service to get an invoice.

This is a modern hotel located close to the Orly airport Pros The main attraction is its proximity to the airport terminals. From the hotel you can use free carts from the airport and you can walk over a bridge connecting directly to the terminals. Easy check in check out Decent size bedroom Cons Windows do not open Lousy free wifi No electric outlets capable of recharging my electronics. No parking space in front of the hotel.
