We stayed in a suite this time around and it was huge, really spacious, especially the living area and the main bathroom. The entrance/atrium is the stand-out feature of this hotel, makes a good first impression and is kept nice and clean. David, the manager, maintained a visible presence around the hotel and took the time to introduce himself which was appreciated. The only criticism I have - and it remains from last time - is the pool. It's just terribly drab, concrete walls, fake grass, unattended bar, I honestly think it should just be closed as there's probably not enough space to make this a 5*-level facility anyway.

Vung Tau is a small coastal town within 2 hours' drive from Ho Chi Minh City and a favourite among the locals. We stayed at Pullman Vung Tau which has easy access to the beach, about 5 minutes' walk or short shuttle ride provided by the hotel. The room is spacious and we have lounge access of which the food, mostly canape, are simply delicious. Breakfast itself is also amazing, especially the noodle bar station. Definitely worth it.

Very good service, friendly staff. Special thank to employees at Lobby bar Mr. Dao and Ms. Phung, they was not only show us the warm greeting but also take care to every detail, moreover, they also introduce us a lot of information about hotel like the promotion, the ingredients of menu... etc. We just have an outstanding experiment with Pullman Vung Tau, can't believe that we could have those 5 stars experiment and high quality of drink at this hotel. Once again, big thank to two bartenders at Lobby bar.

Excellent but with flaws

There are many good things about this hotel - the breakfast is superb, the room is spacious and clean, and it is a very functional. It is also not too far from the beach making it a good location to be in. But there were many staffing issues. The check in process took over 35 minutes because of pre-paid issues. I thought I had pre-paid for my stay several months prior to the trip and due to banking issue, this proved not to be the case. While it was no one’s fault, this could have been far better managed. Secondly, I found that I could not charge food and beverages back to my room as they forgot to take a deposit upon checking! Management really needs to train front of house staff far better. And room service was also very inconsistent.

A very nice stay in vung tau eventhough it was short

It was a very nice stay in Pullman vung tau. Mr David Julien Pannetier (Operations Manager) received us with a warm welcome. He made sure that everything is up to the 5 stars hotels style they provide. The suite we got is spacious, very well maintained (Salon and business desk amazing). All the suite (1122, executive floor) is sea view, 2 steps from the executive lounge where the variety of food and cheeses (something rare usually in the region even with top luxury hotels due to cheese prices) were remarkably noticed. The amenities are so nice, the welcome bottle of wine, cakes, juices, wonderful orchids are so inspiring, welcoming letter…. Thanks to the team and to Mr David for making us feel so welcomed. He even made a research about our food preferences before we arrived which was so unique and very much appreciated
