Not recommended! There are various problems with this hotel. Firstly, on booking it is not at all clear that the hotel doesn’t have parking. In fact the nearest municipal car park is much further away than stated and as the streets & pathways are cobbled you really cannot use a wheeled suitcase, you have to carry your luggage. We stayed in a ‘privilege’ room. Although the room itself was just acceptable the bathroom was ridiculously small and inconvenient. The floor area was tiny & cramped, the over-bath shower was a struggle to access even for a very fit person as the bath sides are high and the access very small. Really disappointing. On the positive side the staff were very nice.

Really loved this hotel - fabulous location, good amenities, spacious, comfortable, stylish and clean rooms. As someone travelling from far away, its helpful when a hotel supplies things like a proper hair dryer too. The only thing I would note is that the rooms were a bit overheated, making it hard to sleep, and the soap supplied was heavily fragranced, which is hard for someone with hayfever and sensitive skin, eyes etc. Great stay!

Great location, lovely room with a view of the illumineres at the cathedral at 10pm. Very helpful staff providing car park details before arrival and booking us a restaurant. Loses a star for having pillows made of concrete!

This hotel gets a 3 star only for the location and the view and actually the bed was quite comfortable. The receptionist and the guy on the reception the next morning were so unfriendly, I felt like we were an inconvenience no pleasant conversation was exchanged very disappointing. The reception area looked unclean and I used the stairs and the lower levels of the stairs were filthy. The receptionist in the evening was so much nicer than any of the other staff we experienced.
