Great stopover in great location staff fab rooms fab loved it parking at the rear too walked into saint dizier for evening meal quiet hotel breakfast really nice not a great choice but ample there was a lift for suitcases too loved this hotel we will stay again

We stayed here on our way back to the UK after a ling road trip to Italy. We needed somewhere which would provide a clean and comfortable room at reasonable cost, provided free car parking and which had its own restaurant operating during covid. It provided all of these and was extremely efficient.

Overnight stopover and our first visit here. En route Calais to Zurich. The room we had was at the rear and was very quiet. (although there appears to be a military airfield some distance over the back although thankfully it's not busy). The room was clean and comfortable with an adequate bathroom with plenty of hot water. We had a friendly greeting at their restaurant and although we were not anticipating much we were extremely happy with the quality of the meal and complemented them to that effect.

I don't like writing negative reviews but this hotel was probably the least favourite during our summer tour. It started well with a very pleasant welcome from the receptionist, we had off road parking and free WIFI. The room had a large and comfy bed and the bathroom was very clean and well decorated. However, the room itself needed a good lick of paint and new carpet. All the woodwork was chipped, the carpet was worn and faded and the balcony framework peeling and badly rusted. Our evening meal began well with a very tasty starter. Unfortunately our main course of lasagne whilst hot on the outside was stone cold in the middle. We didn't make a fuss as these things do happen and the lasagne was replaced but the reception from the waitress from then on and indeed at breakfast was colder than the meal itself. We won't be back.
